For sale is this beautiful Guild Pilot 5 String: Specs are: Made in USA somewhere between 1986-87 Solid Flamed Maple Body Amber Burst Finish Maple Neck Rosewood Fingerboard EMG Pick ups Vol, Vol, Tone Control original guild hardshell case included The Bass is in great condition, only has a few little marks on the back and headstock, which I cannot really capture in pictures. One of the tuners is missing the black metal cover on the back of the headstock as can be seen in the pictures. This is only a very minor cosmetic issue. Also this Bass might have been a fretless in the past, but I bought as a fretted bass. I never noticed it but someone pointed this out to me, as the side dots are more like on the frets and not exactly in between. I just put on a set of fresh Daddario strings. It plays great with nice low action and has a very slim neck (feels like 17mm bridge spacing) for fast playing. I am looking for 800 euros or best offer for this Bass. i played an amazing jv squier jazz bass, and some not so good nyc fodera...but then again i guess its more about economic (resell) value and hype ;-)

I dont really know what the value of this bass is, but I guess around 1000-1200 pounds or something? I really am open for trades so if its a trade + cash in either direction, it might work as well.

Ken Smith Burner

This has been my favorite bass, also cause I am a big Hadrien Feraud fan, but at the moment I am looking for something a little bit different and thats why I might let this one go. The bass sounds awesome and playabilty is great with the tight spacing and low action. It is a 5 string Ken Smith Burner with a walnut/quilted maple body and a 5 piece maple and walnut neck. It is in great condition, the only thing worth mentioning is a mark in the laquer (not wood) on the upper part of the body. Case is included, bass is located in Germany. Hi Ruck. I lent the bass to a fellow bassist for a couple of days so I cant record right now but If he decides not to buy it, I will make clips for you. The pick ups arent true single coils, but stacked humbuckers (i think), and they really sound like single coils to me, but are dead silent. Christoph Dolf makes some amazing pick ups. If I wasnt in need of some cash, I would keep this bass, and string it E-C (sounds awesome that way and its a fast player).
