Well what can I say .... It's built like a tank and weighs almost as much ! Swamp Ash - bloody 'ell ! Whilst it is heavy , for me that's ok as it balances perfectly . The pick-ups give me all the sounds that I wanted . The 51 at the neck gives a kind of Humbucker sound but without too much boom . Vintage P , for that Vintage P sound ! And the J for any zing that I may require ! Thump , Honk , Clank , Boom ( a little ) it's all there .. After some experimenting and dialling I'm tending to favour the 2 P pick-ups for some serious Thunder !
It's a beautiful looking Bass , very classy . My pics really don't do it justice . Jon Shukers workmanship should really be seen " in the flesh " as it were , to be truly appreciated .
