  1. The bass on all future of the left's albums are banging in the mix 👌
  2. Dang.... Had my hopes up 😄
  3. Ahh.... Odd why Bax and others haven't
  4. Does that apply? As everything was more pricey a few days ago and prices always included vat.... Always been free postage over £100.
  5. I Gather its to do with leaving the EU 🤷‍♂️... Just having a gander at pedals on thomann and the prices on everything are super low. The new darkglass Adam is 385
  6. Studio comp sold. Just my awesome tight fuzz and the bass driver to find new homes
  7. Rats! Just about to get this. If it doesn't work out for whoever got this please message me as I'll buy it 👍
  8. Price Drop on the tight fuzz... £155 for a quick sale. Save £90 on a new one, which this practically is.
  9. Amptweaker Bass tight fuzz.... Apart from popping it on my board and giving it a good blast its Brand new ( got it on 17th December). Easily one of the best fuzz pedals I've tried, very versitile.... It can do a great muff, silicone and it can get into rat territory ( managed to get it to sound like my old mxr m85).with top mounted Jack's it takes up as much room as a boss, and it's built like a tank! . Think I'm after a distortion/mid level drive rather than a fuzz these days 🤔... The cheapest I can find in stock are at thomann https://m.thomann.de/gb/amptweaker_bass_tightfuzz_silicon.htm Now discontinued so will become rare I imagine? save yourself £90 against a new one.... £155 posted or trade for a nice distortion/OD, Darkglass ao or sorts 🤷‍♂️ Handmade (on strip board) bass driver clone (without Di) great quality and sounds fab £60 posted
  10. Used to love the black widow 15's back in the day. This will sound awesome I'm sure
  11. I did say imagine 😀
  12. Very happy with this setup.
  13. You would think so.... But ive played a few amps through it that sounded pants ( for what I like anyways)
  14. Imagine that under stage lights 💪
  15. Finally had our first band practice with this amp tonight 😒... Dang!! With the high and low switch engaged and eq flat it has such authority..... Add a bit of my b7k and 😮. Very happy and so is the band... ,.. It just cut through the mix like a hero ( Drop C heavy stuff). I've been through a few heads along the way with these guys (many valves and solid states) and they are exstatic about this 👍 Happy chap 🙂 . ... Even if it does look daft on top of my Ampeg fridge
  16. I've got a Seymour Duncan studio bass compressor inbound which will go in front of all my dirts, be interesting to see how it'll change it.
  17. Yeah, was surprised it doesn't do heavy big fuzz .
  18. Arrived today. Had a low level jam with it, thought it sounded okay but nothing that wow'd me 😒..... Came back to it a while later and played it at a heafty volume through my rig 😁.. Mind changed, It sounds fantastic!! I can see the low fuzz tones as being an always on pedal for some people, just gives a lovely creamy slight amp break up feel. I'll be giving it a real test at practice Sunday so I'll make my mind up then if it's the fuzz I'm looking for... . It's quite a different flavour to what I'm used to but so far it's a 👍
  19. I couldn't control the itch and bought the last one they had. Fingers crossed its a hit.
  20. I'm glad you got it, bargain for new (£220 at thomann) ..... Gutted as I didn't quite have funds. Yeah, let us know how it is please as its a scratch that needs itching now for after Xmas 🙂
  21. I've just bought a new bass comp so no funds, but if anyone's interested this was the tight fuzz deal https://reverb.com/uk/p/amptweaker-bass-tight-fuzz
  22. This has been on my radar for a few years now and one has turned up.. Anyone got opinions on it? I usually go for a green Russian muff type fuzz but fancy something different maybe?
