1. Hello all. once again i am looking for advice. Our band the mighty Quo Motion, are looking at moving to in ear monitoring, in particular the Shure psm 200 series. can anyone offer advice on if we should make the jump or not? we are looking to reduce weight by loosing monitors and the often problems with feedback we experience.
2. Great night the mights Quo Motion v's ZZ stop, battle of the bands at Vics Biker pub in Coalville. Come on the Quo. Quo motion rocked the night as always.
Just Kissed My Baby - The Meters Its got groove, its got a very simple line and things build up nice with each instrument coming in bit by bit . Also it gets a little interesting in the chorus and you get to throw some shapes when hitting them notes. Damn I feel like dancing now awwwwwwwwwwwwoh! Yeah! Uh Uh! HuH!
Brilliant shout a must for all player. i would like to add to this mix Small axe by Marley and " Calling all the heroes" It Bites

9. I haven't tried the hammers but i have two sets of Wizzard pickups. A gem and some P bass. They are great sounding and if you have not already ring and speak to them direct, they will talk to you about the sound you are after and build accordingly. When i had the gem built i asked for a " meaty sound" and that is what i got. the whole cow. Can't say enough good thinks.
10. This is deja vous. I went through the same process last year. Like yourself found it difficult to make a decision. your playing style and venue size would reflect my siyuation. i ended up at Bass Direct and Berg became an obvious choice. Using the LM3 through this cab is just stunning. Live it is without question the cab that cuts through the mix and carries brilliantly. In truth i never got around to trying the Schroeder cabs, but i don't care any more!. other benifits would be local distributor, so face to face dealings, build quality and just makes you sound amazing.
11. Thanks all. I like the Tascam, but not sure if thats just G A S. Any thoughts on the eden practise amps?
12. Can i ask. What in your opinion is the best practise amp around at present?
13. Wot a beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. Hello Tom I would echo previous comment. The SVT3 is excellent although if up against loud band members then it can struggle. However there is extra gain on the EQ, without having to use it. 4ohm Cab is a must.!!!!! the SVT HLF 410 is excellent SPL is 126db, which is amazing. Have you considered other cab brands? The more cabs the better.
15. Just wondering if any of you have footage of your special little noodle ( LICK). the one you use in a music shop to silence all others. we all have them.
16. First off. That film is sheeeeeeiiiiiiittttt. Man that film is so insignificant. I lasted 12 minutes. Any way the cab. Its a tough one as the reduced size and weight do not come cheap. you may need to consider some of the cabs with "new" design materials. I can vouch for the Bergantino cabs. The HS210 might be worth looking at. 17. I'm sure its all been covered but My experience of MM has always been a very comforting one. I have a 3 eq, and every time i pick it up it just feels right. The eq is very responsive, really easy to pick out diffrent tones. I also think its a bass made with the player in mind. i love how easy it is to adjust the truss rod and on the new ones how easy it is to change the battery. Those little things are well thought through.. The necks are mint, very P like with some of the bulk taken off. I have had mine a long time and like many have tried many basses. expensive and cheap. these days i have just two. The MM being my very reliable number 1....
18.
Yup They sure are a beautiful thing! I have a Comodous on order at the moment along with a rather stunning Wood&Tronics
Man. Those Wood & Tronics are just off the Hook. They have some at Bass Direct in Warwick, such a well made Bass.
19. I have just taken over the care of a Mayones Be4 bass. These basses are amazing, Layer upon layer of tone, then more tone. i had to share my excitment with you all.
