    New band I’ve recently joined have some Roland TD-18/20KV thing. it works. but there’s definitely a keyboard drums vibe still lingering and it doesn’t sit well with me, or the drummer who I’ve drafted in. anyhow. tomorrow is real kit central. Thank god.

    My mates dad died a few years ago - Pete was a legend, great sense of humour. He asked for “Road To Hell” by Chris Rea He meant the (more famous) part 2 - the Single. we got the Album filler part 1. it was funny. In a way. this track in its entirety is on my funeral plan…

    Maple fingerboards with body colour matching headstocks… No idea why. but a 70’s Gibson with a maple board and black headstock (ripper/RD) is fine. no idea. oh, and the early MTD kingstons - don’t mind them having the MHS/Maple combo. really an odd “nah, won’t buy that” thing.

    I really liked one I had in stock at a shop years ago. The B was good too. As ever with lots of Gibson bass models, they didn’t stick around long and that’s a real shame.

    Wish they did a full scale version of this. I’m clumsy enough on 34” so 30”-32” sounds like a chimpanzee bashing a set of rubber bands. Such a cool looking bass.
