  1. I think for me 75% of the time the tweeter wouldn't be needed but I do like a bit of more modern rock so it just depends on the quality of the 15"
  2. Thanks for the feedback, of course the sound is key. For me I need the 70's Ampeg thumb but it must be able to handle a cleaner more crisp presentation. As I say, suggestions very welcome but remember, most of the time this will run in a room that is 5m square Cheers
  3. Hi all, want to tap into the knowledge "bass" on here please. I will shortly take delivery of the Ampeg PF350. I'm really liking the look of the 115he cab. Before I pull the trigger, should I be looking at a different cab? (focusing on home use for this rig)

  11. Hi guys, can anyone help me out, I've been search for two days to find audio or a video of the Solid state Fender 400 pro combo. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers Mark
  12. Thanks so much guys, doing a final round up of my thoughts on this. If home use was the only consideration do you guys think the CL would hold its own (thinking PA for gigs)
  13. Hi Aerodyne, drop me a PM if interested, I do have other offers at the moment Cheers Mark
  14. Lozz, always welcome suggestions ;-) Thanks so much
  15. Great feedback guys Main reason for the two amps is that I had narrowed down to the Ampeg but then I got first refusal on the Fender and at the same price as the Ampeg it got me thinking. My main concerns are that for home use is the 400 overkill? Lugging 80lbs up and down stairs could also be a small issue. The Ampeg looked nice for home use but will it really cut the mustard? That said, it's half the weight of the Fender. Tough choices!!!
  16. Hi Evil I'm on holiday at the mo but can post picks next week, it is in A1 condition.
  17. Hi all, I have narrowed my choice down to two amps A used Fender 400 Pro or a new Ampeg micro CL Both the same price Main bass is a USA P, rock and blues, 90% home use, 10% small gig. Guys could I have your opinions please as I want to make a final call ASAP Mark
