1. I've not had this long, I acquired it on a bit of a whim as I've always wanted a USA Lakland, and I'm a big fan of it's first owner. It's a beautiful instrument, but I have to be realistic in that one posh Jazz is enough for my current needs. This bass is a one off commissioned by Paul Turner of Jamiroquai (I've had this verified by Lakland, not because it adds any value to the bass, but like I said, I'm a fan) and rather special it is too. Options include the P/J pickup configuration, colour coded headstock and blocks and binding on the neck. I've restrung it, given it the slightest of tweaks and it plays very well. If I wasn't such a Sadowsky superfan and could justify owning two high-end basses, then this wouldn't be going anywhere. There is one small knock on the headstock, but other than that, it's in excellent condition. I'm looking to recoup what the JO owes me - £1500. I might consider trades, but I'd prefer a straight sale. I'll post at cost as it'll be well protected in the rather plush/pimp Lakland flight case. 2. That's right. I believe this version just has a bit more in the beans/oomph department.
3. I've decided to put my AI Focus up for sale as I'm not currently gigging. It's a fantastic amp, with a huge amount of power (450w @ 8ohm, 800w @ 4ohm, 1000w @ 2ohms) and some really useful features for the the doubler, or anyone who needs to amplify two instruments at the same time. Here's a link to the specs: http://www.lnrmusic....us2r-specs.html It's in good nick, and comes complete with the official Acoustic Image carry case. Collection from Margate, or I can post at cost if necessary. It looks just like this..

Ooh Ar. Jesus. Nice. Erm, would trades be an option?
Thanks for the comments guys. It's really more of a fundraiser, but I might consider trades. Drop me a PM with any offers. Cheers
8. After a bit of soul searching I've come to the realisation that I need to thin my heard a bit. I'm not currently in a gigging band, and barely get time to play bass at all these days. So here we go. This bass was constructed by forum member Wesfin, and is an exact replica of a 1960's Fender Precision. It's a truly beautiful instrument, and absolutely nails the classic punchy and warm Precision sound that I had previously thought only existed on records. The highly desirable spec consists of: Body - 2 piece lightweight alder (The bass weighs around 8.5 pounds!) Neck - lightly flamed maple with Dalbergia Negra Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard (old growth, 60+ years old), clay dots and nitrocellulose finish Celluloid pickguard (custom made by Pickguardian in the USA) with aluminium shielding plate under pickguard. Lollar P-Bass pickup Olympic White finish on body with nitrocellulose lacquer, lightly reliced. Vintage style CTS pots Switchcraft vintage style output jack Bridge and pickup chrome cover plate "ashtrays" not pictured, but will be included. After buying the bass, I noticed that there were a couple of high spots on the neck which meant I couldn't get the action ultra low without generating fret buzz. I took the Precision to an excellent local luthier (Andy Crockett of Crockett guitars), who suggested a re-fret would rectify the problem. As I was convinced I'd never sell the bass at the time, I gave Andy the green light. After a few weeks, the bass was returned to me and the results far exceeded my expectations. The fret work is impeccable, and the bass now seems to play itself. I also invested in a new Hiscox flightcase, as I do for most of my instruments. If you have any questions or would like to come and try the bass (I'm in Margate in Kent), be sure to get in touch. 9. I'm selling a pair of EV SX100 PA Speakers as I don't currently have a use for them. They have seen little use, so are in great condition. They sound excellent as you would expect, I've actually connected them up to my Linn Hi-Fi in the past with great results! Here's a link for the techy gumpf - http://www.dmmusic.c...0-speakers-each SOLD
10. I played this bass earlier today and it is amazing! Harry is a top man to deal with as well.
11. I've had an influx of interest from all over Europe on this, but I've decided I'm not up for shipping overseas. Sorry guys.
12. I'm thinking of moving on my Mesa Scout combo as I rarely get the chance to use it. It's the 4 ohm, 15'' version with the more recent addition of the player control network. It packs a ridiculous punch for its size/weight. I've upgraded the valves to JJ Tesla's, as they give the amp a bit more clean headroom. I've also upgraded the fan, as the originals are renowned for being a bit loud. The original Mesa Boogie valves and fan will be included if you prefer to return it to original spec. I'm after £800 collected from Margate in Kent, or I can post at the buyers expense. If I get the asking price, I'll also include a hard case for the head. It's really useful if you intend to whip the head out of the combo and use it with another cab at a gig or rehearsal venue for example.
