  1. Sold to Burns-bass in record time!
  2. Fender Jazz JB62SS (Smart Size/Short Scale) up for grabs. This is essentially a Fender MIJ '62 RI that has been scaled down to 85% of the size of a standard Jazz, an awesome idea on Fender Japan's part! Despite it's smaller dimensions and 30" scale it maintains full size pickups and hardware. The build quality is as high as you'd expect from Fender Japan, and it sounds like a proper Jazz bass. It's in excellent condition and comes with the original Fender gig bag.

  4. Only the Bearded Lady left. Β£30 posted to your door πŸ‘πŸ»
  5. It is indeed, thanks πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. Agreed πŸ‘πŸ»
  7. These basses are faulty!

  9. Agreed, I wonder what the Fender custom shop would charge to create something as good as these? That white J looked amazing πŸ‘πŸ»
  10. I removed the neck pickup cover today and made a notable discovery.. I sound nothing like Marcus Miller with it on or off. Damn.
  11. QSC K12.2 + QSC Tote bag. This is around 5 months old, has seen next to no use and has never left my house. As you'd expect it's in excellent condition. I've tested this in an FRFR capacity out of curiosity (with my bass plugged straight in, using the "bass amp" profile) and was blown away by its capability.. There's plenty of info on the forum about that if you're interested in leaning more. Collection from Margate or I can post if required. I have all the original packaging so it'll reach you safe and sound.
  12. Good point. I think I've priced it pretty well (considering the new price) in order for somebody to get the refin of their choice. As always, I'm open to offers πŸ‘πŸ»
  13. Next up is my beloved Moollon. This bass looks, sounds and feels like a great vintage Fender. It's lightweight (3.7kg) and extremely resonant with a thick punchy sound. It's pretty rare for a Moollon in that it has a swamp ash body and quarter sawn maple neck. As you can see the nitro finish is beginning to wear nicely in places.
  14. Hi Tony, yes it's a straight Jazz profile. Very similar in feel to my Moollon. My Atelier Z neck feels thinner but they are all 38mm at the nut. I've definitely got too many basses.....
  15. This was on hold but is now available again... Β£625 including postage and the Windmill gig bag.
  16. The Tourniquet is on hold, Bearded Lady still available πŸ‘πŸ»
  17. Thanks πŸ‘πŸ»
  18. They look amazing, did the humbucker do a convincing Musicman impression?
  19. Thanks for the offer but I'm after a straight sale πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. Ah yes, good spot πŸ‘πŸ»
  21. Back up for grabs is my Enfield Avenger Roger Waters Precision. This is a lovely 60's style P bass hand made by Martin Sims. It features one of the best P style necks I've ever played, silky smooth figured maple with a polished Ebony board. It incorporates some of the design features of the ultra high-end Cannon bass (headstock, neck heel) that no longer feature on Enfield, in favour of the more straightforward Fender style. It sounds thick and punchy and is wonderfully resonant acoustically.
  22. Agreed, thanks Keith πŸ‘πŸ»
  23. About a grand I think! 😁 I think the sig model has abalone blocks and a standard Fender style bridge rather than the high mass Atelier Z number. Edit: Andy beat me to it
  24. I also saw Chic at a festival a few years back. I remember thinking that the sound engineer must have been a bass player, JB's Atelier Z was the star of the mix! Thinking about it, I've only ever seen him play that one bass. If only I had such dedication 😬
