  1. Good point. I think I've priced it pretty well (considering the new price) in order for somebody to get the refin of their choice. As always, I'm open to offers πŸ‘πŸ»
  2. Next up is my beloved Moollon. This bass looks, sounds and feels like a great vintage Fender. It's lightweight (3.7kg) and extremely resonant with a thick punchy sound. It's pretty rare for a Moollon in that it has a swamp ash body and quarter sawn maple neck. As you can see the nitro finish is beginning to wear nicely in places.
  3. Hi Tony, yes it's a straight Jazz profile. Very similar in feel to my Moollon. My Atelier Z neck feels thinner but they are all 38mm at the nut. I've definitely got too many basses.....
  4. This was on hold but is now available again... Β£625 including postage and the Windmill gig bag.
  5. The Tourniquet is on hold, Bearded Lady still available πŸ‘πŸ»
  6. They look amazing, did the humbucker do a convincing Musicman impression?
  7. Thanks for the offer but I'm after a straight sale πŸ‘πŸ»
  8. Ah yes, good spot πŸ‘πŸ»
  9. Back up for grabs is my Enfield Avenger Roger Waters Precision. This is a lovely 60's style P bass hand made by Martin Sims. It features one of the best P style necks I've ever played, silky smooth figured maple with a polished Ebony board. It incorporates some of the design features of the ultra high-end Cannon bass (headstock, neck heel) that no longer feature on Enfield, in favour of the more straightforward Fender style. It sounds thick and punchy and is wonderfully resonant acoustically.
  10. Agreed, thanks Keith πŸ‘πŸ»
  11. About a grand I think! 😁 I think the sig model has abalone blocks and a standard Fender style bridge rather than the high mass Atelier Z number. Edit: Andy beat me to it
  12. I also saw Chic at a festival a few years back. I remember thinking that the sound engineer must have been a bass player, JB's Atelier Z was the star of the mix! Thinking about it, I've only ever seen him play that one bass. If only I had such dedication 😬
  13. Yes mate, it's just a sticker. I quite like it but understand why some people might prefer the clean look.
  14. Atelier Z M245, hand made in Tokyo. I've owned a few Atelier Z basses in the past, a Beta, Beta Deluxe but none of them compare to this. The M245 is their top of the range instrument and it is an absolute stunner. IMO It combines everything good about a 70's Fender (i.e. Ash, blocks, binding, girthy sound) but without the downsides (i.e.ridiculous weight, terrible build quality!). It comes complete with the Bartolini XTCT preamp that features dual stacked pickup volume controls, vintage tone control, bass and treble controls with a mid sweep in the control cavity. Combined with Atelier Z's own single coil pickups it sounds immense. Despite it's 70's vibe and chunky hardware it weighs just 8.6lbs! It comes complete with the nice Atelier Z gig bag shown. It has a couple of small lacquer dings and some discolouration patches but on the whole it's in great condition. 15. Polytune sold. All three Dr Green pedals available for Β£70 posted!
  16. TC Electronic Polytune, works perfectly, velcro on the bottom, good used condition with a small paint chip on the top. SOLD Dr Green Octadose. Decent Octaver in very good condition. SOLD Beared Lady. A gnarly Fuzz pedal with useful adjustments for high and low Fuzz. Very good condition. SOLD The Tourniquet. A useful compressor in very good condition. SOLD pan widget
  17. I've had quite a bit of interest in this but it's still available. Hit me with your best offer if you're interested πŸ‘πŸ»
  18. Thanks mate. I'm quite pleased with it considering how quickly it came together, and with no real discussion or planning prior to recording! Cheers πŸ‘πŸ»
  19. Thanks for the clarification πŸ‘πŸ»
  20. Due to the current situation one of my covers bands decided it'd be a nice idea to try and remotely record an original track to keep busy. Work started a week or so ago, and after a bit of tinkering it's more or less done. As it's our first foray into original music and home recording, I'd love to get some feedback from you guys. I'm sure the lyrical content will strike a chord at least! If anyone's interested I used a custom Fender Jaguar with flats, an EBS Octabass and a TC Spectradrive, straight into Garage Band. Here's the track
  21. Interesting, there seems to be quite a few different ideas around the brand.. Thanks for the input. A quick note regarding couriers at this time of uncertainty. I've used UPS three times in the last two weeks (another parcel being collected tomorrow), and they have been faultless as usual with their next day delivery promise. So if you're after a lovely hand made 70's style Jazz with a nice gig bag for less than half the cost of a Fender Mexican road worn jazz, get in touch!
