1.
Frankenstein P bass with moses graphite J neck, cheap ass body and sub-par construction – still sounds damn good mind! Would probably part this out rather than inflict my dodgy drilling and shielding on anyone
Could be interested in the P Bass, or should I say I could be interested in the Moses neck. let me know if you decide to part company. Cheers, Stuart
 2.
Artist Profiles updated with Lorenzo Feliciati who will be performing with MFB http://www.bassday.co.uk/profiles.htm
God, I thought that said RFB. Ask your Dad about that one Gary. When is he going to start playing again?

 5. It didn't have a Highway 1 sticker on it and not sure if they do Highway 1's with Maple fingerboard. It is still only the price of a MIM tele and includes case.
 6.
and lo, it was gone ............
To Be replaced by:......... "THIS SALE HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN DUE TO COMPLICATIONS WITH LOCATION. APOLOGIES TO ANYONE WHO WAS INTERESTED "
 7.
An American Tele for £350.... Bugger, if I hadn't just spent a grand on a car and insurance, I'd have snapped it up.
Yep a BRAND NEW one at that. If I didn't already have one, (plus I am commited to the dark side now), I would have snatched their hands off. It is a really nice example.
 8. Here's one for our "skinny string" friends. I was in Cash Recycle in Eccles, (Manchester), and they have a brand new American Fender Telecaster for sale for £350. It's a Maple fingerboard one in Sunburst. Still has the cellophane on the pickguard, all tags, Fender guarantee and even an ABS case, (that looks like the genuine Fender version as well). IF I didn't already have a 62 re-issue in Butterscotch Blond, I would have snapped it up in a shot. I reckon it could be haggled down to about £325 as a friend of mine got an american P Bass from the same shop. They wanted £250 and he got them down to £225 by waving the folding stuff. The same guy later bought a 1980's Fender Mustang Bass for £60, (battered to hell or full of Mojo, your choice). Once the Mustang had been restored he traded both basses for a brand new 5 string Stingray at Sound Control. There are some bargains to be had at this place.
 9. Sent the seller an e-mail asking for serial number and model and this was the reply:
"Hi, My bass is in Paris at the moment, I will bring it back before the end of july. I will phone tomorrow to get the serial number and get back to you. Thanks, Lucy."
As the listing ends in 3 days, any buyer won't see the goods for 2 weeks or so.
 10.
Very badly listed ("5 string electric bass guitar") Japanese (apparently) Ibby ATK, starting at a ton: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1 I'm a little bit dubious about the seller's 1 feedback rating, but worth a look for anyone who could pick it up in person, maybe. Jon.
And only £5 postage for a Bass and Case. Definately a pick up in person, but could be a bargain.
 11.
Hi, yeah I have looked at the BFM designs, they look like a fantastic option, but I have no tools etc to make one myself. I do have a cabinet maker 20 yards around the corner from home though, so may well look into it in the future. A nice omni 10 + tuba 24 would probably do the job (of annoying the neighbours) !!
Tempo, Not sure if you know but Thumper is now an "Authorised Builder of Bill Fitzmaurice Design Cabinets in the UK." I am in the same postion as you, no woodworking skills and lack of Power Saw and Router. I know this is a massive plug, but hey-ho. I have been in contact with him a lot recently and he know has some fixed prices for both the Omni 10 and 10.5. Give him a PM if interested. Back to the Acme Low B, I missed one at an insanly cheap price on e-bay. The guy who was selling, (based Leeds way I think), absolutely raved about them but did say you need a minimum 300w to drive them properly. I believ they may also be distributed in Italy, but with the £-$ trate, the US is probably the best bet. Good Luck, Stuart

 18. TM, It's a shame about the lack of value attached to Aria stuff. As a converted guitarist, I got into bass by winning an Aria SB101 in a magazine competition. It's a bolt-on neck with a single active soap-bar and 3 band equalizer and it ain't going anywhere. It has a neck and action to die for and sounds amazing. I've also got 2 Fenders and an Ibanez 5 string, but whenever I take the Aria out it always surprises me. The Gallery have an SB101 for sale at £329 and I would put yours as worth more than that from a dealer as it is a higher spec model. But dealing privately is always a different matter. When you consider you are looking for somewhere around the price of a Mexican P Bass, the Aria is on a different planet. Funnily enough one of the 6 strings I couldn't part with is Aria's version of the Gibson ES335. It has so much sustain you can play a note, go and make a cup of coffee and it won't have died when you come back. Good luck with the sale and whoever get's it will be getting a lot of bass for the money.
