1. Of ourse the usefulness of gigging is that it helps to sharpen new stuff - you get a keen sense, IMO of how good/bad/unfinished/how much more work a song needs etc, by playing them live
2. Vintage Ibanez rocks - bump
3. how loud does that 210watts get? bi-amping is patching the two channels together right? active to passive - what does it do for the sound?
4. ah, that makes sense now!

9. The time may have come to move this on, but right now just a FEELER for interest in this vintage Fender Bassman 135. Bought from Umcoo on this very forum - it's a 1980 model, runs at 4ohms, and currently has four EHX 6L6s in the power valve dept, and 3 EHX in the pre-amp - two 12AX7s and an 12AT7. Considering its age, I've had no issues with it. The amp has that wonderful richness of tone you find in valves, can be played clean or, as seen in the pic, patched to run both sides of the pre-amp valves, for extra grit, and punch. This first pic is courtesy of Umcoo but I can provide more pics for any interested BCers. Second pic is from a recording session with my old Berg cab

17. Hi Sambrook The width at the nut is 45mm - I'm not sure how to measure the depth, suffice to say the neck profile is very thin at the nut and not at all P like as the 45 mm might suggest.
18. These basses rock - hand built and this is available at only £500 - it's half the price of a new one, not mint, but in pretty darn good shape, and did I say it was HAND BUILT? Did I say exquisite neck?
19. look into my eyes: you will buy the bass today...and wake
