1. I used to tech for tribute acts up and down the country. We always used a Peterson 490 for all the instruments. I now use Korg DTRs.
Indeed... Tuner GAS? List price US$5k.
2. Have just got a DTR-2000 off a fellow BassChatter. So this has to go! Offers please.. Here's the Korg guff... Korg, who created the world's first rack-mountable tuners, now announces the DTR-1000, a must-have item for the professional musician, packed with essential features for pro-guitar performance. "The consistency of the Korg Metronomes and Tuners is unparalleled. The DTR-2000 Tuner is my favorite! I love the readout and the accuracy of this tuner. On stage it is perfect for it's accuracy and visibility. It also has a very cool look that even the fans often notice." -Lee Ritenour * Chromatic Tuner * Automatically detects note name and accurate pitch * Two types of display: "cent" or "strobe" * Seven-semitone flat tuning support * Adjustable Calibration of 438-455 Hz * Dimensions: 18.94"(W) x 4.45"(D) x 1.81"(H) * Weight: 3.09 lbs Rack-mountable tuner The DTR-1000 is re-designed for even better visibility from a distance when you're on stage. The LED tuning indicator moves as smoothly as a needle and there's a large sixteen-segment display confirming your tuning note. You can also use a "strobe" display that indicates the difference between the input sound and the correct pitch by the left/right movement of a light. On the DTR-1000, you can select either "cent" or "strobe" display for tuning. Seven-semitone flatted tuning The DTR-1000 also supports the flatted tunings used to give the sound greater depth. The seven-semitone flatted tuning mode provides for dropped tunings all the way from one semitone down to a maximum of seven semitones below standard pitch - two semitones lower than the five-semitone flatted tuning supported by Korg's previous guitar tuner. Input and output jacks The front panel of the DTR-1000 provides INPUT and MUTE jacks, and the rear panel provides INPUT, OUTPUT, and MUTE jacks. *If both front panel and rear panel jacks of the same type are connected, the front panel jack will be given priority. Adjustable Calibration The Calibration function supports a variety of standard pitches, and can be adjusted in 1 Hz steps over a range of 438-445 Hz. The Auto Reference Calibration function detects the pitch of an instrument and and sets that pitch as the reference pitch. (Accommodates a range of 428 Hz-452 Hz.)
 3. Up for grabs, my old Chorus pedal. (as new) I now have a rack unit that does the job just fine. The CH-1 Super Chorus pedal delivers a clean classic chorus sound with crystal-clear highs and a unique stereo effect, variable between left and right speakers. * Classic Boss chorus pedal with clean, brilliant sound for guitar and keyboards * Effect Level, EQ, Rate and Depth knobs allow for precise shaping of sound * Features Mono input and Stereo outputs for connection to dual amps
 4. You cant beat a proper Peterson... Not the same as there own digital versions!
Just got a Turbo Tuner, and it's awesome. Incredibly fast tracking and really easy to use and read. This video's been posted several times before, but it just shows you how quick, easy and small the Turbo Tuner is -- much more so than the Peterson, which costs a fair wedge extra: Indeed, the Korg Pitchblack has a "strobe mode", but it's not a true strobe tuner so it's not anywhere near as accurate as a strobe tuner. Behold: Korg Pitchblack accuracy: ± 1 cent Sonic Research Turbo Tuner accuracy: ± 0.02 cents Yes, the TT is 50 times more accurate.
5. Please note: This is also for sale on Ebay with £10 Postage. I will do it FREE postage to any BassChat folk. Up for auction is my nearly new Ashdown Little Giant 350. I purchased it as a spare and never needed it. I now have a new amp. It is like new, comes in original box with unused rack ears and fixings. Absolute bargain! Cash on collection preferred Despite fitting into the front pocket of an average bass guitar gig bag, new Ashdown Little Giant 350 bass amp punches way above its weight of 6.6lbs/3kg with a heavy-hitting combination of power, tone and features. Measuring just 8.27" x 2.6" x 12.2" (including an internal power supply), the Little Giant packs a comprehensive range of facilities including switchable active/passive instrument inputs, 7 band semi-parametric EQ for precision tone shaping, Deep and Shape switches for instant access to killer sounds and an EQ in out switch, along with an input level control and meter, output level control and power switch. Things are equally impressive around the back of this pint-sized power-house, with a pre/post switchable balanced DI output, FX send and return, line input and output and a pair of combination Speakon/Jack speaker outputs. Hooked up to a good bass cabinet, the Little Giant comes alive with a full, rich sound and stunning dynamics that belie their diminutive weight and size. 6. Hey dude I am very interested in this flight case. I also have a 4u flightcase wood/metal one. Would you be interested in a trade? I give you case plus £20 cash? I live in Bognor Regis, so we could meet half way. Say Crawley? Thats 35 miles each? What do you think?
Hi for sale i have a 6u Aluminum sleeved rack case. This has racked my SVT4 Pro for ages now and its looked after it great. Im only selling due to me looking to downsize to a 4u. The first pic is from the previous owner however the second one is with all my gear inside. I would like £50 for the rack case but i would consider a trade for a good 'plastic' 4u case. Pickup would be preferred but i can look into posting it if there is any interest. I am based in Swanley, Kent so i can deliver the case to potential buyers within reason. Please ask if you want any more info about the case.
10. Would anyone be interesting in exchanging my as new MXR M-80 Bass DI w/ Distortion for a Sans Amp Bass DI? Just the normal Bass Driver, not para driver or similar.
 11. I have the baby brother of this, the 700RB. I have a small metal box, one Mrs Raggy wouldn't even notice. I'll do you a swap. It'll be our little secret....No???
 12.
I'll take the DS-1 if it's still available.
Its just gone i'm afraid.
 13.
Used for a short time (couple of months) but has just been replaced, so up for sale as used but it's in mint condition and will come with the original box and instructions, but without screws. The cables are all original length with two taped together for standard noise cancelling operation, and extension wires on the other two (easily removed if you want).
Great Pickup. Wish i had £50 for it, just incase i bought another. Good luck dude!
 14. Finally taken a pic of my Duff Inspired Rig...
 15. There must be some more Duff Fans out there? Or even GK, Jazz Special fans?

 17.
Afraid I don't really need any of those pedals aside from the tuner. Sorry dude
No worries. How much would you be looking at on top of my tuner? Obviously we can ignore postage, as we'd both incure charges. I have the DTR-1000 and a Peterson strobe. I'm just being greedy!
 18.
I'd take the tuner + cash if you're willing to pm an offer?
I have no moolah...So it would be a few of the pedals, thats about it i'm afraid. I have no other gear i wish to get rid of...
 19.
In all fairness, it isn't as white in real life (or real light) as it is in the pic. It is, however, in totally perfect condition and still quite white. It must have spent its life in a case under someone's bed, as it only has two small dings on it. I have a bit of a thing for white guitars, and its whiteness was what made me decide to buy this one.
I love that ibanez too. I'd quite like a seventies frankenbass. White Pbass body with black guard with P+J pickups and a jazz neck with blocks. Fookin Sexy!

 21.
Here's one I have handy. The Trace cabs have gone, replaced with a Marshall 15" cab (with a different speaker). I don't have any other Duff gear as such. I do have a GK amp (the 400RBMkIV in the pic) which isn't the same one he has, but is still GK. I suppose it could be argued that his choice of GK influenced me, but I'm not really going for his sound or anything like that. I think it's well cool that you have Duff's rig!
Dude awesome. I have the 700RB that i know has passed through his hands once before. But the 800RB that he uses for recording is currently not available to buy in the UK, and they said that the 700RB is the "UKs closest alternative" Duff uses the 2001RB head for live use, but this for me is too big. Its a stadium amp, nothing less. Saying that... I will be getting one soon. Haha. Love the look of your white JBS. Much whiter than i expected for an older one. Rock n F'N Roll!
 22.
Nice. I have an 80s Jazz Bass Special in white - it's the bass I had always wanted as a youngster and now I have it! I'm giving 5-strings a real shot at the moment, so the JBS is sitting in a case. It's a great bass - light, well balanced and makes nice noises. It's the one with the unpainted neck. I'm a pretty big Duff fan too. I collect old GNR bootlegs, as well as Loaded, Velvet Revolver and Neurotic Outsiders, so I've seen a fair bit of Duff on video over the years. I also went to VR's last gig in Amsterdam. Bliss!
Hey dude, Nice to hear of another Duff fan. I'm after another 80s one in white, but i'd need to get one with the painted neck like mine. I'd be interested in some pictures of your one, i will do the same. Would be good to compare your old white one with my duff one. I have just seen Loaded at Download festival, but have seen VR on numerous occasions. I've got a few Bootlegs too. Do you have any other Duff related gear?
 23.
nice rig man, i used to be a "1 semi down" kinda guy myself. I've since gone even lower to drop C though lol.
Eb is low enough for me, although we will be doing tunes in standard Db soon. I will have to get another bass for the road me thinks. I still need a Furman PL-Plus II if you know anyone with one?
