I would think that Chris could probably make you a short scale version if you wanted one!
Sure, but seems like they're batch built, so I guess it would depend what the demand/sell-through was like on them.
We shall see.

Wonder what the price point will be.
Wish they were shortscale though.

Don't look, they are priced at a point where you'll buy one immediately
I think you grossly overestimate what I would spend on a pedalboard 😂
But yeah, really cool product, definitely on my radar for less lean times. Great that the bag is included (or certainly is on the listing i'm looking at).Si

I do like the Burners, probably the only KS shape I’d consider.

Yeah, Andertons, Guitar Guitar, Bass Gallery, Bass Bros and Bass Direct will be your best bet for plenty of stock….all are going to take you a couple of hours I’m guessing.
But nice Saturday out for you I suppose 🙂

Just had a little tidy, let's keep it on-topic and courteous please.

Why not have JCR just make a 30" version of your 33"?
Again, it will sound and feel different due to the scale length, but you'll be able to tick off the build quality and hardware/pickups issues you are having with the Menzinger.

Why is rock so formulaic?
Just watching Reading festival in the Beeb... And there's Bring Me The Horizon on. Who employ every single metalpop cliche ... Why is there nowt new or different? Is there a set formula?
Your main issue is that you're looking to Reading Festival to show you new rock music. Look to festivals like Arctangent and 2000 Trees.
Once again, for anyone complaining that there's nothing new or different, I promise you that it's because you're not looking hard enough.
Reading festival has pretty much always been a pop cross-over festival, which is fine, if there has been rock bands, that act will have had a wider appeal for one reason or another.
With regards to Bring Me The Horizon, never been a fan, but go and listen to Count Your Blessings and Suicide Season if you want rockier Bring Me.
I also go back to this feeling of if someone accuses a band or artist of 'selling out' or (in the case of rock/metal music) writing lighter music in order to succeed etc, then that person obviously has no real interest or understanding in creating art. If they did, they would understand that someones artistic output changes and evolves over time.
Some artists might subscribe to this idea of creating to a formula exclusively to be popular, however I would offer that they are the exception rather than the rule.

I don't believe we have any Markbass representatives on the board, but I imagine that it's largely because they've launched the new MB58R CMD 121 combos recently.
Further than that, your question might be better levelled at Markbass directly I imagine.

I would head for a MIJ Precision if you want Fender, or if you have a larger budget, a Pino custom shop, or look out for a (rare) used Moollon.
Lakland also make some excellent Precision copies.
All depends on the spec you’re after.

Almost certainly wouldn't go back to Fender I don't think. Fender would just offer some ridiculous discount to the shop and they'd then sell it as B-stock.
Cheaper for Fender to do than pay for it to come back to them and then junk it.

Would love to take this off your hands, really interested in trying one, alas just the wrong time.
GLWTS, should go quickly I think.

You’ll unlikely need a preamp/DI as the Duet will have an instrument level input (read: DI). With that in mind, a Preamp will just give you EQ flavour, which is fine, but almost always achievable within the DAW you’re using, which allows more mixing freedom.
Based on your usage, I’d probably go with a fairly powerful laptop (I’d say a Mac Book with at least 16gb RAM). If you have the budget, get an additional screen for home use, that way you can work on a two screen setup at home, while also having a mobile setup via the laptop.
Boom, sorted.
At some point you’ll likely add an external hard drive for storage/backup, but you’re unlikely to need/want that immediately.
I’d also recommend Logic as your DAW if you go Mac, cheap for what you get, and nicely scaleable from beginner to professional.
