    The SVP Pro is the preamp version of an SVT 2 pro. The preamp in the SVT 4 sounds quite a bit different, and you won't be able to get it to sound like the SVP. If you don't mind the weight, then check out the SVT 2 pro, as it sounds even better than the SVP because of the tube power section (in my opinion, of course).

    Literally got this on finance only a month ago, so its as close to brand new that a second hand bass can be, not a single mark on it. Really GASing for a 4 string as I've only ever played 6 string basses since learning to play and I fancy the challenge. As I'm still paying off the finance on this, I'd like to trade it for something that's worth roughly the same as this was new (£865). Ideally I'm after either a Geddy Lee or Marcus Miller jazz, but I'll consider any trade.

    Selling my Sansamp VT Bass v2. It's been modded to have a DI out (with ground lift) and a parallel out. £105 posted. Massively handy for both recording and live purposes.     I use a 6 string jazz bass now, its got a maple neck and an ash body, and I prefer the brighter sound for my band. That's literally the only reason. I had the frets dressed about 10 months ago, but I've been using my jazz as my main bass for about 8, and I've barely played the Schecter since, so the frets have about 2 months of wear on them, so they're pretty damn fresh!

    Selling my Empress ParaEQ pedal. This thing is the best EQ pedal on the market, without a doubt. I've only used it a handful of times for recording and this thing is literally as good as new.     Up for sale is my Aguilar DB 410 in tweed (the best colour for a cab, right?). I want £300 for this, which is pretty damn cheap considering what they go for new. Cheers, Dave
