  1. All PMs replied to. I've also amended the string spacing, as it's actually 19mm
  2. Bathroom scales are saying between 9 and 9.5 pounds
  3. Please delete this post if it isn't allowed, but I'm selling an Elwood 5p, if anyone fancies a punt on one without paying full price. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/280253-maruszczyk-elwood-5p-jazz-bass/page__pid__2993814#entry2993814
  4. Up for sale is my Maruszczyk Elwood 5p Jazz bass. Chances are if you're looking you know how good these basses are for the money, if not, head over to the bass guitar section of the forum, and you'll see how well regarded they are with a number of people. Specs Body: Alder with an ash top and back. (keeps the weight down and looks great. You can see/feel the grain) Neck: hard rock maple Fingerboard: Maple Nut width: 45mm Construction: bolt on Pickguard: Black Pickups: Delano JC 5 AL single coils Electronics: passive - volume, volume, tone Finish: 3 tone sunburst, transparent, body/neck matte String spacing: 19mm The matte neck is amazing, both in terms of feel and look. It's not "sticky" in the slightest, like some matte necks, and I really love how the maple is darker than what you usually see. £500, including the gig bag it came with. I've got no problem with organizing delivery, at the buyers expense.
  5. Hi Adrian, Yeah, some interested, but still here for the time being
  6. Just checked on the bathroom scales and its between 9-10 pounds. Zero neck dive when playing standing up, although I play with a textured strap, which seems to reduce it with neck heavy basses, but honestly, I find this bass well balanced regardless.
  7. Up for sale is my Fender Jazz Bass V MIM. I got this new a couple of months ago, and truthfully, I love it, but like most people this time of year, I'm in need of money, so unfortunately, it has to go. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between this bass and a new one, other than the pro step up I've had done on it, and the black scratchplate (I can include the original white one, if you'd prefer). Considering it's condition, and the fact I'm including a flightcase, I want £400. I can arrange delivery, but at the buyer's expense. Any questions, just shoot me a message Cheers, Dave
  8. Up for sale is my Squier vintage modified 5 string p bass. Just search on the bass guitar section and you'll see how highly rated these basses are. Completely mint and as good as new. I've even got the original box if you want it too. £200 collected from Peterborough, or I can post at buyers expensive, which would probably be around £18.
  9. Need this gone ASAP. Would take £115.

Up for sale is my mint Yamaha BB425x. I got this bass a few months ago, and it's only seen light home use since. It's probably one of the best 5 string basses you can get for the money, and plenty of people on this forum agree. The only reason I'm selling is because a jazz bass set up works better in my band, so I'm open to trades for a 5 string jazz bass of some variety, provided it takes my fancy. I want £280 firm, as it's in great condition. Collection from Peterborough.
  15. Not a fan of the cabs at all, but the Nexus tube head is great and definitely underrated. Word of warning though, a lot of the heads have an issue with the temperature fault sensor thingy (pretty sure that's it's technical name...) and the head will shutdown on you. It's not that its overheating, its a problem with the actual sensor itself. Hopefully they've fixed it by now!
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NKLg7qIzFc Good comparison video. I've got a 425x that I really rate for the money. It's better than a lot of the non-american Fenders I've played.
  17. Great, I'll drop you a PM with by bank details or paypal. Nah, no hissing. Think that mainly came with the model with age, but I haven't had any hiss that's come from the pedal itself. Yeah, its got a passive, active switch on the side
  18. Would do £65 posted, but I wouldn't let it go for any less, after postage and the cost of posting this ad/thread, I wouldn't be left with a lot.
  19. 2012, I believe. I had the older model previously, but I've had this since new. Yeah, course. I've got a blurry picture on my phone, but I was gonna swing by our practice room tomorrow and grab it, so I can take more then if you like. Apologies for the awful photo!
