1. It baffles me too man. I love all these references to UFO as Pete Way is a massive influence of mine. He was quite tall though... If you manage to sell yours and mine is still here then please do message me. Cheers bud! Stevie Doctor, doctor pleaaaase, won't someone, buy my bass? Doctor, doctor pleaaaase, don't you know I need it gone fast!
2. Thanks rushbo but I need the cash from it plus I'm not a big fan of Les Paul shapes to be honest. Thanks anyways though and good luck with the sale. flex, you have a reply Cheers
3. It does have a bag with it but it's not a perfect fit. I'm trying to get hold of one for it to go in. The bag I have for it at the minute is slightly too short. The tip of the headstock pokes out of the bag which is why the bass has never left my house. As i may have mentioned before, I'd try and pack it in foam/bubble wrap and cardboard as well if i was to have it sent off to some one. Are you interested then mate?
4.
Christ is this still here? Bargin of the year imo.
Thanks Tom. Yeah it is still here and it really is a bargain. I'm taking a huge loss on it which may put people off but there's honestly nothing wrong with the bass. I just need the cash to finish my P-Bass.
5. Sounds about right for Vince Neil. Total loser and waste of life. It's a shame about Mick Mars bones all fusing down his back. Fair play about Def Leppard though and I understand you missing Steel Panther. Bump to the top!
6.
Hurry up and sell this Stevie, I saw Motley Crue last night, and am remembering how cool white T-Birds look!
I know man, that was one of the reasons I bought this bass and named it "Nikki" (then changed it to Nibbs after the Saxon bassist). Someone please buy this? How were Crue btw? I was so annoyed I missed this tour but I couldn't warrant paying £45 for just Motley Crue (as I don't like Def Leppard and I'm not too fussed about Steel Panther) Come on guys, £200 plus £10 postage?
7. Thanks Lozz, I am honestly surprised about it not going yet. There is honestly nothing wrong with it and it's not really been used. Just doesn't suit my playing or the tone I want to get. I prefer a P-Bass tone which is why the money from this is paying to finish my 87 off. Yeah, people may have seen that thread about the pick ups but I was basically only saying that the tone isnt for me. I like my basses to have A LOT of treble, insane amounts in fact. It's got a very Rock N Roll tone to it and it's very bassy. Thanks for the offer Tom but as previously mentioned, I need the money from this for my 87 to be finished. Good luck selling yours and contact me if you end up selling your P-Bass and want this bass. Cheers

9. Thanks for your help mate. There's no wire missing so im guessing what you said about the copper foil was right. Either that or I'll just run earth wire from the bridge to the volume pot. Would it make a difference that my bass has the copper shielding as well as a bridge earth wire?
10. Thanks mate, i'm guessing it probably is that. Here's a photo of it As you can see, the only wire going to the volume pot is the brown one. From that, one yellow cable runs to the blend pot and then the pickups will be attached to that. So yeah, that leaves the red, black and blue cables for me to play with. Once I work out what's what, I'll get it fitted. Tell you what, it's going to be a tight fit in the control cavity of my Tobias. Still got to drill a new hole for the mid selector switch and widen the hole for the t/b stack. FUN FUN FUN
11. Hi guys I've just bought a Keen Electronics KE-3Ba pre amp that was previously fitted to a Zon bass but the previous owner of the pre amp couldn't help me with sorting out what the 3 un-attached wires from it are. There's 1 red one, 1 black one and 1 blue wire. I'm guessing the red one would be the wire to connect to the positive/live terminal of a battery pack but I'm not sure what the other 2 (blue and black) wires are for. I would of thought one would be the wire you connect to the ground pin of the input jack (probably the black one as it's next to the red one) then you take the negative wire from the battery pack and attach that to the ring pin of the input jack. There's only one wire going to the volume pot which leads off to the blend pot after that and obviously the pickups attach to that. the 3 tone controls (bass/treble stack with a separate mid control and selector switch) are all wired in already too so there's nothing wrong there. Also, all the tone control wires are at the opposite end of the pre amp to these 3 loose ones if that's any help to anyone? Please help! I want to get my bass done today if possible
12. Well I have a day off on Saturday so let me know before hand and I'll make sure I'm free
