1.
Is that a nitro finish? It looks lovely and thin.
I believe it is a poly finish. I'd have LOVED it to have been nitro so it would naturally relic but to be honest, I love the finish as is.. Been playing this for the best part of a week now and every time I pick it up it's a treat to play. I love absolutely everything about it from the build quality, to the look, to the unbelievably good tone. One happy camper right here.
 2.
What are the pickups/ preamp.?
Pickups are Delano JC 4L single coil. No pre amp. It's passive.
 3.
I was lusting after one of these VERY hard , can you describe the neck for me , how does it compare to say a standard Jazz I tend to use a 38 mm 70's profile fender type jazz he describes these as 40mm , i worry because I dont get on with the 42mm P type necks ... Plus are you planning on swapping the knobs to standard J ones ?
ive never played a 70s Jazz, but the neck on the Elwood feels very similar in terms of profile to the other jazz's I've owned, with the exception of the Geddy Lee I had. I didn't get on with that neck at all. I will be swapping out the knobs I think. Finish off the vintage look a treat. I stuck it through my amp for half an hour and it's got a lovely tone to it, especially as I've strung it with flats. Gonna let it sit for an hour or 2 so it can settle as the action was super low. Might need a little tweak but we'll see. First impressions; might buy a 2nd one.
 4.
That transparent white is beautiful
I'snt it just! So glad I went for that over the solid vintage white.

 10. Soooo, after being messed around by a seller on a facebook bass group and then subsequently not being able to find anything that took my fancy, I decided to take the plunge and order the Maruszcyzk that i'd wanted in the first place anyway. Looking forward to it turning up now. Exciting times!

 15.
Action is crazy high...any specs?
The action isn't high, It's actually pretty low. The angle of the photo just makes it look high. Spec: made in usa. It has the standard Jazz set-up, alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, with 20 med/jumbo frets. The hardware is chrome the tuners are Fender stamped, the bridge is Fender Vintage style, and the pickups are Fender Alnico(passive). The chrome control panel has 2 volumes, and 1 tone. It has a satin lacquer finish in 3-color Sunburst. I have removed the white pickguard from mine and replaced with the tortoise shell.
 16.
Some nice looking relicing. I'm assuming this is built pre 06 due to lack of badass bridge?
Good question... Which I honestly don't have an answer for haha It's a 60th anniversary edition so, whenever that was.
 17. In great condition, really reliable pedal tuner. I've used these for years. Looking for £35 posted.
