  1. Anyone tried or using the JB-2 as their main bass? What are your thoughts and experience about it? Looking for a budget beater bass where I can mod in the future and keen to go this route rather than get a Fender MIM jazz and the likes. I like the symmetrical shape of it too as well as the demos I’ve seen online. I’m just surprised that they are cheap. Most reviews and demos are 12 years ago. Hope their build quality is good. Anything I should know of about before I pull the trigger? Looking to get either of these from guitarguitar:
  2. It is really good! I’d be keeping this if I didn’t need the money. Gutted because of my circumstance but needs must first. Cheers mate!
  3. I powered my MXR bass synth using my Cioks DC7, I tried to daisy chain it with my Cali76 on one of the 660ma slot, and its noisy. When I powered the bass synth on one slot without sharing, it's quiet again. Even my Onespot PSu adapter which supplies 1700ma, I daisy chained the bass synth with just the Capo and its still noisy. I noticed with the bass synth in my experience, it doesn't like sharing power.
  4. REPRICED TO £1500 THIS WEEK Selling this lovely bass with a heavy heart. Gigged a couple of times but mostly used for Studio work. As much as I want to keep it, I need to sell this beauty as we are expecting our 2nd baby and I just paid for my ILR Visa so need to recoup some funds. Bought new from BassDirect this June. No mods, only thing I changed are the strings to La Bella Low Tension Flats. Bass weighs at 3.9kgs. I sold the original gig bag thinking I would never sell it but life happens so yeah. For collection only at SW19 area so please bring your own Gig bag/case. Willing to sell it with the Mono Vertigo for an additional £150 if needed. Collection only at SW19 or can meet somewhere in London on schedule. Any questions, feel free to message me.
  5. Just saw te sonic blue one, and close to pulling the trigger!
  6. Thanks for this! Seems like the new player II are good then. Been reading in talkbass and reddit too. thanks for your input!
  7. Looking to get a beater Pbass and torn between these three. Anyone owned both the player and classic vibe, what are your experiences? 1 and 2 are almost the same price and have no mods, and because it's second hand, I like that it has more mileage and most prolly been setup. Or get the latest player II coz I'm a sucker for maple and blue combination. 1. Squier Precision Fiesta Red Classic Vibe 60s - 2nd hand 2. Fender Player in Tidepool - 2nd hand 3. Fender Player II in Aquatone - bnew

    Darkglass Anagram

After some gear culling, I’m now just using an Anagram and a MIDI controller. Had a mate 3d print a board like the Pinstripe pedals’ Little Black Pedalboard. IMG_8377.mov
  9. And lollipop tuners too
  10. Must not give in!! https://www.andertons.co.uk/fender-american-professional-classic-precision-bass-faded-sherwood-green-metallic/
  11. Child number 2 incoming so I have to move on some gear I won’t be using much/can live without including my much loved bass synth. Won’t be gigging as much too by that time so yeah. MXR Bass Synth with Tap Switch for preset changing - SOLD Cali76 Bass Compressor - SOLD Mono Lite with Cioks DC7 and Crux including 2 Ernie Ball flex patch cables - SOLD Can also meetup around SW19 area otherwise, free postage. -Chad
  12. Made a show reel and demo of my compact pedalboard. No talking or tweaking, just a quick showcase reel and went through my dialled core presets: 1. Chadu Super-P: Core tone tailor fitted for my Dingwall SP1 which gives me my dialled Slap tone, tube goodness for that warm fingerstyle and gritty tone if I want to use a pick and get dirty! 2. SoloSphere: For my ambient and fun solo needs. With quirky names, you’ll get what I mean: Pitch Please, Wet Dreams and Funk You. . Intended for Church, Pub gigs and bedroom jams. My best iteration at the moment. I enjoyed filming this!
  13. From TDog: £380 to strip and refinish in nitro. Was contemplating between these 2. Sean Hurley inspired or me inspired.
  14. Looking to have my white one repainted to this and have a mint guard so I did a quick mockup. Been a fan of Daphne blue since getting an AVII 60s Precision, but sold it to fund for a nice sounding P with great low B which is the SP1. But yeah just looking to personalise mine. Have been using this for many gigs now and been pretty happy with this thing. Still looking for someone who can nail this. I've only inquired so far with Chris from Bow Finishing(closest one to me as I'm based in SW London) and TDog customs and just waiting for their replies. {retty excited about this project!
  15. Thanks so much for this! I’ve just messaged them. Quite close to me as I’m just around Wimbledon area
