1.
Happ to do so once I've paid Rusty for the Jazz, it would be a little rude to sell it before I've paid for it :)

Quite right to! my appologies Rusty.

I'm in no mad rush for it, just keep me in mind if you decide to move the neck on.

    Regards R.

  2. Hi, yes a standard Fender neck will fit this body, I had an early 70's Fender Jazz bass neck on it for many years, recently it's had a Fender style fretless neck on it. both necks fitted nicely.

These basses were so acurate to the real thing I believe Tokai got sued for it!

I'm no wood expert but I'd say it was either alder or maple.

PS I have found the neck plate and screws if they are needed.

  3. I recently bought and imported this body from the US just so I could get the Japanese red tort scratchplate off of it :) it's a fine looking body but I have decided to give up making bitsa basses so it has to go.

    I was told it's from a 1994 model.

it's in great condition apart from a nasty ding on the top edge. you can clearly see this in the second picture.

I have put on the white scratchplate from my other CIJ body.

    £225 delivered Parcelforce.

let me know if you want any more info or pics.

    Cheers R.

body is a little bit warmer looking then it apears in the pictures

  4. I bought this as a whole bass secondhand back in the late 80's and over the years swopped and changed necks and pick ups.
It's a quality Japanese body idea for projects.

I've decided I have made my last bitsa bass so I'm slowly selling of all the parts I have collected over the years to fund buying a 5 string fretless.

If you have any questions or need any more pics let me know.

    £150 delivered by Parcelforce.

body looks a little bit darker and warmer then it appears in this picture.

  5. MIM Fender tortoise shell scratch plate, it's brand new and still has the protective film on it and the original packaging, I bought this to go on a CIJ body and it didn't fit (the holes are in a different place) so it's up for sale.

    £16 posted.

Badass 2 bridge with screws, I have had this for donkeys years and it has served me very well but is now surplus to requirements, it does have a few scrathes where the blocks slide up and down.

    £30 posted - SOLD

  6. I have had these in a bitsa Jazz bass for a few years now but I have decided to only have one Jazz at a time so I'm getting rid of lots of stuff.

there is a little bit of string wear on the casings that can be seen in the pics.

Now £60 posted including the screws, plate, pots, socket and knobs (or I have 3 new pots, a socket and cloth covered wire if you prefer)

    Cheers R.

  7.
How about Audacity? It's free too.

    Peter
I use Audacity to, pretty good for a free bit of software and runs on a PC, Mac or Linux.

worth a try before shelling out on something expensive like Cubase.
