  1. My Squier CV Mustang, I got it in a trade and the neck had already been refinished, I added the Vintera scratchplate. I love playing it and it sounds good recorded but I'm not so keen on the colour so one day I might strip it and see what the wood under the finish is like.

  2. These are rolling about in the parts box but will never be used so need a new home.

Note the short MM style one has the pegs that go into the basses body although they are fully removable so I guess it could be used without them. this one has a couple of tiny bits of missing chrome.

Sorry no mounting screws except for the large MM style one.

  3. Excellent work! I was watching a YouTube video recently of the audio engineer/producer on the original recording, he was saying it was hard for The Revolution to nail live.

Interestingly Prince gave the song away initially to Mazerati but liked what was subsequently done with it in the studio so took it back.

  4. Bought for me at Christmas and only used once to try it out, amazing little box for the money but ultimately not my sort of thing really.

Amps, effects, cab impulse responses, tuner, I believe it can also be used to record via USB into a DAW.

Sturdy metal construction, small and rechargeable.

    Love the colour

Me too, I'm still undecided on the neck and my well swap it out at some point assuming it's a standard sized neck pocket.

  6. I happened to pass by Rough Trade East on Saturday morning and couldn't believe the size of the queue! here's a few phone pics of it, you'd have to pay me good money to wait in that.

I used my new MIJ Mustang at rehearsal last night. Sounded great though a couple of buts. First I need to get some Ultralite tuners as it was dragging a bit on my shoulder towards the end. Second I really need to put some hours in on the thinner neck, on the more complicated parts of songs my fingers were falling over each other. For years I’ve played Precisions so am used to the wider necks, just got to get used to it which means hours & hours of playing - not a bad thing at all imo.

If you do change the tuners for Ultralites, I could be interested in the JMJ ones for my Squier if you were to move them on. I do have a soft spot for lollipop tuners.

  8. Owned by me from new and has served me very well over the years, I'm only changing it as I find myself needing a separate volume control for the headphone socket.

It's in great condition, the sale is for the unit only, no box, cables, manuals....

£38.00 £35.00 including delivery to mainland UK
