    Here is my very recently purchased Spector Ethos 4 in the most beautiful colour, Plum Crazy. This has only been used a handful of times at home. Only selling as I have bought another bass from a member of this shire and I have a strict policy of one in, one out. This is setup beautifully with a brand new set of LaBella stainless steel strings (45-105), plays like a dream, sounds amazing, and feels incredible. Thru neck design, brass nut, Ebony board, 12th fret inlay, Luminlay side dot markers, Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp, EMG pickups, and super low action. No scratches, dinks or dents. Comes with the original box as these don’t come with a gig bag. I have a new Gator Pro gig bag that I will sell for an additional £75.00 This bass is in brand new condition. It came direct from the distributor and has never spent anytime in a shop for others to play. It cost me £1575.00, so this is a real deal/bargain. Can post at buyers expense and risk, or will meet within a reasonable distance. Collection from Cowbridge, near Cardiff/Bridgend/Swansea, available. Bank transfer or cash on collection only, please ☺️ PS - Please don’t ask me what it weighs as I have no idea, and I have no way of weighing it, but it doesn’t feel massively heavy to me 🫡

    I just bought a Roger Glover Vigier from Rhys. I can’t tell you how happy I am. We are one for one now, as he bought an Excess 5 off me back in 2021. An absolute legend, top bloke, great player and all round bass geek, likes all. Deal with complete confidence. A trusted guy, and very thankful for his friendship. Cheers, mate ☺️🙏🏻

    Oh they really do look awful. Can’t get my head around the paint job/finishing. It looks like someone started something and then changed their mind half way through. Hey, if it makes someone happy, then Spector have done their job, but if that turned up on my doorstep, it would go straight back. I hope they play/sound better than they look, which I’m positive they do.

    Really not liking these so much, and the price is crazy, in my opinion. Get a Pulse II or Ethos or save up for the real deal. Nice to see Spector trying things out, though.

    This isn’t one of the Chinese made ones that were just released. I think these were full fat Canadian built ones, introduced when the JT collab was first announced. Happy to be corrected of course. Either way, they did a limited run and are very cool 😎

My profile status shows my loyalty, so to pay more for extra advice seems a little odd. What do I need to do to prove I am legit here? I will accept your warning, but it came with no advice as to how I should ask this forum about value etc? I feel that an open forum should be just that, but if there are implied rules or restrictions, maybe an admin’s knowledge should be given for further reference.
