Genz Benz CTR500-210T Contour Combo - SOLD

Reduced to £170 for a quick sale!! Genz Benz CTR500-210T combo - 2x10 - 300watts RMS - in very good condition and working order. This has been a gigging amp for me for the past couple of years and has been left at a venue I regularly gig at to save the backwards and forwards of taking the amp to the gig every week. Its a great amp, very reliable and a great workhorse. I have had two rigs for ages so it is time to downsize both and get a compromise combo/FRFR wedge (still undecided) which will do both jobs. I will post some pics (apologies for the stock image) but it is currently at the venue and I won't be there until the following week. If it sells, I will nip there and pick it up for the prospective buyer. Lot of versatility, good range of sounds and for the price point, punches way above it weight. Speaking of that, it's also nice and lightweight for a combo! It is possible to do a one-handed lift. On that note also, I have fitted heavy duty castors to the bottom for ease of transportation - i can remove these if necessary and put the rubber feet back on. It does have a few knocks and scuffs (only to the outside cabinet), handle is in good order, so price is negotiable (a little) but it is still in VGC and working order. Any trial is welcome and collection only I'm afraid. I don't have the means to pack something this big. Collection at the most easterly point in the UK - Lowestoft. Some info from the website: http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid=2862&sid=705&cid=95 FEATURES • Full Featured FET Preamp Design • 300W @ 8 ohms; 500W @ 4 ohms • Class D Power Amp and SMPS • Gain and Volume Controls for a Wide Range of Gain Settings • L.F. and H.F., Shelving EQ Networks • Parametric Midrange Filter • Contour Tone-shaping Network • Input Mute • XLR Direct Output w/Ground Lift • Fan Cooling • Multi-layer Plywood Construction • Heavy-duty Molded Strap Handle • Heavy-duty Metal Perforated Grille • 3 Way Tweeter Level Control

Sandberg CALIFORNIA TM5 - VGC with Sandberg gig bag - SOLD
carlsim posted a topic in Basses For Sale
Sandberg California TM5 BASS in great condition. Plays great and is a nicely balanced instrument. The natural finish looks great and it is a well worn in instrument - a few marks and dings here and there but nothing major... Musicman pup to the rear with a single coil jazz pup to the neck. Delano pups I believe with single coil switch for the rear pup if you fancy that more jazzy sound. 2 band EQ with pup blend and main volume. No noisy electronics, could do with some new strings which I will sort out for the new owner. 1 noticeable mark near the rear pup (see pics) and there are minor marks in the natural wood on the back but it's a great bass and a very easy play. Thinning the herd a bit which is the only reason for sale. Can post if required, any trial is welcome or could meet up within reason if needed. One note - this is quite an early Sandberg I believe so I'm not 100% on the model number. I will be happy to share the serial number if anyone could share some light! Cheers!- 8 replies

I WANT TO BE IN THAT BAND!!!!😁

it's hard to be rock n roll playing chitty chitty bang bang and step in time!!
-
I'm trying not to kill RnR... in fact I can't even remember the last time I was Rock n Roll... 😬
-
were the Yamaha DXRs nowhere near as good then? I guitarist friend has a Kemper and uses a DXR, but not sure how good they would be for bass...

OK.... i'm seriously considering this approach. I have just sold my TC rig and am looking for an FRFR speaker and preamp. If you are doing it - what did you buy and how effective has it been. I want to make the right choice now rather than buying/selling/buying/selling etc. I don't really use effects at all as most of the gigs i do are theatre based gigs, so I am just looking to replace a bass rig with a wedge and preamp. I had a Dave Hall VT1 (the older version) and this was a very nice pre... Guys - give me your recommendations! Money is limited so will be probably aiming to buy used....

Rolls PM351 SOLD!

Rolls PM351 Personal Monitoring Station in excellent condition and working order with PSU. Splits a mic signal (mic thru) for a 'more me' IEM option on headphones and you can also plug in instruments and line signals so it make a neat little rehearsal box. I picked this up on the forum recently and my monitoring needs have changed and have to switch to a small format mixer... so it's up for grabs. I paid £60 delivered a couple of weeks ago so price is firm. 🙂 From the website: The PM351, like its predecessor the PM350b, is a personal monitoring device with a 1/4\" TRS stereo/mono Line Input,a single XLR Microphone input and hard-wired XLR pass-through, and a 1/4\" stereo/mono Instrument input with two transformer-balanced and isolated XLR Outputs. All three of these inputs are also routed via individual Level controls, to a 1/4\" and an 1/8\" (3.5mm) Phone Output. The Mic Through, and Instrument outputs have jumpered Ground Lifts for elimination of ground hum. The PM351 is ideal for live bands and church musicians, as well as studio musicians and singers. Having the ability to monitor a main mix along with the musician\'s voice and their instrument make the PM351 an effective and versatile tool. Excellent condition and working order. Collection welcome. Postage is £7.

Hi everyone, I have my stingray 5 and somehow, the selector switch tip (the black plastic bit on the end) has gone missing! I bought one from an online supplier, but I think this is more for a strat or tele as the slot wasn't wide enough. I have tried to 'open' it up a bit to no avail. Online, all i can seem to find is strat esque ones - anyone got any bright ideas as to where to look? I don't want to have to go to Ernie Ball and but a whole new switch just for a bit of plastic! Please help!
Get in touch with Alan at Synergy http://www.synergydi...k/Sandberg.html He does Phil Jones and Sandberg in the UK and he could not have been any more helpful when I had issues with my amp. Can't recommend him enough!
Will do!
Why not message Sandberg directly? Their support is great.
I couldn't find anywhere to contact Sandberg on their website - am I missing something?

Hi all - I have a Sandberg California and the standard precision type tuners... I have an issues with some minor missing bits and bobs in there which is causing minor issues with the tuning. Can anyone offer some assistance? The main crew which holds the tuner cog in place is fine, but there is a screw and 2 washers which hold the tuning peg (the bit you turn) in place nice and firmly when tuned. For some reason, some of them are missing and I need to replace them. The screw isn't the problem - it is an M3 or M4 I think and I can get something from B&Q or eBay if I know the thread pitch, the problem is the washer. It has a round washer with a hole which is squared off and a small round plastic washer. I have attached images! One shows the screw in place, one shows it removed with the washer exposed and I have removed them to show the parts. I have no idea what to look for online or where to start looking (a couple of guitar parts places gave me nothing) and I can only think to contact a Sandberg dealer but I reckon they will say - "nah - replace the tuners"! A good idea but an unnecessary expenditure for a few measly screws... especially when the work fine! Anyone else had a similar issues or can throw some assistance I would be grateful!

I know this would normally go in the wanted ads, but I wondered how many DBers read them! I am after a bow quiver which would only be used sporadically so I don't really want to spend silly money on a new one... anyone got an old one they want rid off or want to sell?? Don't mind splashing a bit of cash...
