  1. Geddy Lee but not when he's playing a Jazz.
  2. What's That Stink? - Zimmer's Hole
  3. I only know him for his distinctive keyboard playing.
  4. Hippie And The Skinhead - Peter Wyngarde
  5. The Masses Against The Classes - MSP
  6. The Crybaby Bass is an excellent pedal but does that distinctive bass-specific wah that only affects the mids and highs. I agree with @fretmeister, the Ibanez Weeping Demon is the best for me - it has a bass setting that performs like the Crybaby, but on the guitar setting it really screams and thanks to the EQ section it doesn't lose low end.
  7. Dude Looks Like A Lady - Aerosmith
  8. I was brought up listening to The Beatles,Yes, Rush, The Who, so... yeah 😄
  9. I always liked the EMG HZ set in my NS2000. They were more to my taste than the full-fat EMGs in my Euros, but they were PJ so not a direct comparison. It might be cheaper an easier to swap the preamp - I'm not sure which one is it the Q series but my 2000 had the EMG BTS preamp which worked very well.
  10. Shades Of Grey - Biohazard
  11. Probably not as two of them are dead.
  12. Pictures Of Lily - The 'oo
  13. Thursday's Child - Bowie
  14. I bought Peter's TC Electronic Thunderstorm flanger - it arrived very quickly in top condition and a very good price! My band rehearsal tonight was suitably psychedelic as a result. Thanks Peter!
  15. John didn't record the demo until long after the Beatles had split up, and the others didn't hear it until long after he'd died.
  16. He was playing that one at the time. We had a nice chat about it! I think the Spector was for reserve duties.
  17. Black Dog On My Shoulder - MSP
  18. Under Ice - Kate Bush
  19. That's Pink Floyd 😉 Lessons - Rush
  20. I sold a 5 string Spector to their bass player many years ago!
  21. No such thing as a forgotten Beatles track ☺️
  22. I like it a lot. It's definitely a grower, at the first listen I was surprised at how downbeat it is, but it still made me very emotional. If this the last thing they ever do, a part of me regrets that it's ending on such a sombre note rather than something celebratory. It's interesting how this new Beatles release is getting such a poor reception on here whereas the new Rolling Stones album, to my ears autotuned and massively overproduced, is going down a storm.
  23. Nothing Left - Machine Head
  24. Come In - Peter Wyngarde
