1.
I've always been slightly uncomfortable about the MOBO awards. Is there a MOWO awards?
Does that really make you uncomfortable?
 2.
Well, bad news... The pickup doesn't work. They can't/won't sort it. So I'm getting a refund. Hoping the sb700 for sale on here is still available
What a pain! You'd have thought the shop would give it a once over before sending it wouldn't you...
 3.
Ahh i see, must just be the modded ones then. Do you still have that Aria snd does it have mods?
I've still got an unmodified R60 but it will be for sale soon.
 4.
nice! What do these Arias sound like? Any Alembicness about these ones? Or is it only the actual modded ones that have the Alembic sound?
They sound like grand pianos to me. Not very Alembic-like to my ear.
 5.
I doubt you'll find a more miserable song than this: Even more miserable these days than when Peter Steele wrote it, too. I guess it's what he would have wanted.
Beat me to it. Miserable but utterly beautiful. I love this album.
 6.
After a few sherbets last night, spotted something on Reverb.com. An Early 80's Aria SB-600 in Padouk Red. Having just bought an SB-1000, you think I'd be all sorted for 80's Matsumoku loveliness. Me too. But red wine had other ideas. https://guitarvillag...d-circa-1981-ec Oh well, looks good, and while I'm waiting for the SB-1000 to come back to life (pickup issue) this will tide me over. Coming from guitar village in Surrey.
Were you after the Elite in the 'wanted' section? Because I was just about to drop you a line...
 7.
+1 for Geddy. No doubt he can play, but is tone is awful, his songs are dull
8. That oversized 34" looks like it would suit me up a ding-dong.
 9. Focus have several songs titled Focus I, Focus II etc. Currently up to 9 I think.
 10. My old band Violent Intent - straight outta Sidcup - had a song called Violent Intent.
 11.
John's original
Wow!
 12.
played the slab again today. Whilst the strings were old, it didn't have that same growl. Now I'm nowhere near John's level, but I can get a similar tone to his through a Precision, but I really do think its to do with the amp and application of the player in this case. The strings were old mind you
Is this an original Slab or your Slab 66?
 13. Is there anything about the Precision you find difficult?
 14.
Have you heard of Tim Allen? He's on Facebook for sure, he does very good pickguards
15.
One of the interesting things about Squire is that almost nothing he does is actually hard to play.
Sound Chaser's pretty demented.
 16.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a4gj3A9C3k One of my favourite tracks. This guy's always spot on with his bass tracks.
I do adore this album.
 17. Nothing gratuitous about these pics! Bring em on! My ultimate bass. Hopefully I'll be able to afford a second hand one by the time I'm 40...
 18.
How could it shift with 4 bolts in it?
As the neck extends so far out from the screws, and with a relatively small area actually being fixed to the body, it's quite easy to get some side-to-side wriggle from the neck if neck pocket isn't snug.
