  1. Brilliant! Thanks, it's time to see what an 8 coil stingray sounds like!
  2. Thanks for the responses, so if I'm following then it's white and green to the bottom and brown and yellow to the left and right lugs respectively. Just like the diagram. Then wire the surround (earth) to where the black wire is in the diagram?
  3. I'm doing one myself at the moment with a "holoflake" finish. It's much much more subtle than a glitter or sparkle or anything like that. Just matt black underneath and then it's black but shines different colours in the light. You can get a decent result from a rattle can as well
  4. I apologise for my ignorance as I'm used to doing much more simple passive wiring jobs. I'm trying to wire a 3 way switch that looks like this The wiring diagram that I'm following is this one BUUUUT the colours for the wires on the diagram aren't the same as the pickup. Those are listed on the box and look like this Can anybody please help with what colour should go where? I know it should be a simple soloution, the pickup is an 8 coil pickup but can be split into using one of the pairs (turning it into a p style humbucker) the other pair (turning it into a reverse P humbucker) and all active for full 8 coil mode.
  5. PM Sent, as someone who has 3 graphite necks and didn't think it was realistic to get any more with how rare they are now, this is brilliant!
  6. Bought a number of basses from bassbros, they have come with some of the best setups I've ever played. Great company to deal with too. Never sold or part ex'd with them.
  7. I've got one of these and it's honestly one of the best sounding and feeling p basses I've ever played. Absolutely insane for the money, a lovely light satin finish on the neck and body.
  8. This looks absolutely lovely. The original bass is great I have one in the same colour, though the original pickup is one of the worst I've ever heard. Bet it sounds incredible with that ATK. You've inspired me to finish my own build project with one. I've fitted a real musicman pickup passively and am basically going to turn it into a 30 inch scale Joe dart.
  9. Absolute bargain this, I bought some of the warwick wood machine head and truss rod covers from them directly and I think that was over £80 with shipping and tax. So that would be £45 for literally everything else!
  10. Bought a lovely flame neck from Mike, came so well packed it survived the riots! Good communication and good guy, Thanks
  11. Hello do you know if the neck is jazz or P width at the nut?
  12. Sold a neck to Kenny, great guy to deal with, great communication and the whole thing was a pleasure! Can't wait to see the neck on something, maybe in the build thread? Cheers.
  13. SOLD SOLD SOLD Not on here
  14. Price reduced to £215 would rather sell this here than fleabay. Cheers, Rob
  15. I don't seem to be able to edit titles only posts? Had the same problem when reducing the price of things and it not showing in the title
  16. Price reduced to £225 Cheers Rob
  17. Sorry I've been ill and must have missed this, absolutely! Done many times before with good results. cheers, Rob
  18. No but they could be, I've done a gentle roll on all my bases. I don't like a big roll and it involves messing around much more with the finish.
  19. I tell you what, that's an idea though. Graphite neck on a flea bass, basically a combo of his two most famous setups!
  20. Ah yes I see! Yeah you'd definitely have to drill the wood, the good news is if you ever went back to the original neck the holes would be covered by the neckplate Cheers, Rob
