  1. Interested... I'm in wickford Essex... Don't suppose you e ever likely to come down this way?
  2. At least this Sean character clearly now has no base here to screw other people... I definitely agree that you've dealt with this like a champ. Hopefully this won't sour everyone to trading here though, it's definitely a good idea to have a quick chat over the phone with someone before doing a deal. Sucks there are shady characters on here... Had a guy repeatedly tell me I hadn't sent him some strings he'd bought off me, so I sent a fresh set to his address thinking the originals may have got lost etc, turns out he just wanted to screw me for an extra set. Apart from that, everyone else I've spoke to or dealt with on here have been spot on, sorry to hear about your situation, but kudos on dealing with it like a decent human being! Unlike certain people...

  4. Hey, I have a beautiful Casio ps-20 digital piano that I just don't use any more and I need the room! Its about 6 years old give or take and was £899 new, its in excellent condition and has its original wooden stand, adaptor, pedal and sheet music stand. I'm more up for a trade than a sale... I'd be interested in trading it for any reasonable bass, guitar or acoustic, let me know what you have! Collection is the only real option as its a big and heavy beast! I'm on 07912222127 to discuss. here are the tech specs from the casio website.... 5. Hey, I'm thinking of selling or trading this finished project of mine.... It started life as a Squier vintage modified Jazz, The pups have been changed over to Kent Armstrong duel pole jazz pups, ALL the hardware has been changed over to Fender american parts, that's the bridge, pup covers, backplate etc, its been fitted with a mirrored scratch plate, but I have the original as well, so you'll get that. Its been professionally set up by the guys at PMT with a nice low action. The headstock has been refinished with a fender jazz decal from 1978 or thereabouts. I love the sound of this bass, its honestly better than my american fender jazz V. The Squier jazz cost me £300 on its own, the pups where £120 and the rest of the hardware was around £110, the scratch plate was another £20 and the strings are fairly new, so in all it cost me £550, condition is 9 out of 10 if not more, its pretty much mint. If you've got any trades in mind, or any cash offers then hit me up. Trade wise, its gotta be a bass, and the more strings the better! Thanks, Russ. 6. spector euro lx6 of any interest to you? In the same condition as your roscoe, flamed maple top. thoughts?
  7. I've got the exact same issue with the exact same head, my issue was that the fan motor had cut out which caused the internals to overheat, the amp seems to have a built in safety feature where it will cut the power when the internals heat up past a certain point. Check the fan motor out man, its what got mine sorted.

  9. Got an Eden wt800, got a line6 pod pro, got a 4u rack, what's the best way of running them together in the rack to get the tone and power of the Eden with the effects of the line6? Cheers! Russ.

  11. I'll trade you my girlfriend for it? She's in near mint condition, a few holes here and there that could do with filling...
  12. If you can find one £300 should see you to a 1979 ibanez roadster. This bass will give fender jazz's and musicmen a run for their money. I've had mine for 7 years and it's never leaving my side, set the action real low and it'll tap like the best of them, simple to use with one vol and one tone pot with surprisingly versatile tonal range. If you can find one you will fall in love instantly. Built like a tank too! And resale value will only go up. Bonus's all round, I'm willing to bet anyone who's played one will agree. Get one it's worth it! Russ
  13. Hey, I don't know if this is the right category for this, but it seems the most apt (please move to the right place if necessary) Right here's a bit of a story for you... About 18 years ago my grandfather passed away and in his memory we planted a cherry tree in our garden, unfortunately the roots of my granddads tree are pushing up under the conservatory and the tree has been hacked down... So now I'm left with a chunk of cherry tree wood that I'd love to be made into a neck to fit a fender jazz to keep his memory alive through the music I love. Can anyone help with this? Anyone want to make this happen for me? And yes I can pay! Thanks guys, Russ.

  18. Bump! £350 for a mint near new MIM jazz fiver in white... Someone take her!
  19. I have a 2008 Fender MIM white 5 string jazz bass, hardly used in mint condition, this comes with a fender padded gig bag and its original book or words/alan keys. It has a white pickguard and everything else a fender jazz comes with. The strings are reasonably new. These (if you can find a white one) retail at £569 new. Will take £350 for a quick sale, that's £220 less than new as this may as well be new. [s]The next is a Blue matt finish musicman SUB, its a 2006 model, one of the last before they discontinued the range. Its in very good condition with only a small ding on the upper horn and a few minor marks on the neck. This has a pearl white pick guard, not the horrible dimond plate metal ones the SUB's came with. This also has reasonably new strings. When these where available between 2005 and 2007 they were around £579 new. I will also throw in a hardly used Alesis ProTrack dual condenser mic direct to iPod recorder, these are great little things, you can record a gig, practice of whatever directly onto your ipod with amazing stereo quality. It has dual XLR inputs, headphones input, you can charge your ipod from it (only if its used with powersupply, which IS included). These are £149 new. So for £700 (£740 posted) youll get a fender MIM 5 string, a 4 string Musicman SUB and an Alesis protrack, thats a total new value of £1307, yours for £700. I cannot take any offers on this, its £700 or nothing! sorry to be a hard arse but we all know this is a savage deal! I will even throw in a signed Jim Marshall poster!!!! what more could you want for £700???[/s] Im on 07912222127 to discuss any questions etc, and Im based in essex so hit me up! I will consider splitting this sale up, but only if a total of £700 is reached prior to any postage costs getting involved! Russ. 21. It's all about keeping your first guitar as a reminder of how you started, I still have my beaten up yamaha RBX360 plastered in skate stickers. Find 7 people to donate £5 to the budding rockers cause! I'll start it off, so that 6 people left.... C'mon peeps! Let the little dude keep his first guitar!
  22. I have a set of flat wounds that have been strung to a fender jazz and literally never used. I bought the bass and I'm not a lover of flatwounds, so I propose a trade... My flats for anyones non flats. I believe these flats are roto, but cannot be sure, they are as new, just fitted to a jazz, so I'm after the same, either new or as new. Seems fair! Any takers? Russ.
