1. Ok. Thanks guys but let me re-phrase: I'll consider a solid wood (not plywood) Roundback preferred (but not above a good flatback) Maybe I should say from around the £2500 and up price range (so not just a cheapie...but not silly, snobbish money :-)) Michael
As stated! Or if you've seen one to consider, I'll appreciate a note pointing me in the direction>>>>> Much thanks guys
2. Bump for offers??
I've got a couple one of which is this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/200w-uk-to-usa-vol...convertor-13358 The other is similar but is called: Smart2. They are both in very good condition as used very little and the Maplin's one is even boxed. You can use these with 110v (USA) products because it "steps down" the UK 220/240V to 110/120V. £25 each plus a bit of postage
8. In excellent condition with original box, manuals, power supply. I used this in my home studio so still looks and works as new. £35 plus shipping Note: photo added is just to see what it looks like.
 9.
I bought this for a recording project a year ago and it hasn't seen much work after that. Not enough room at home to keep so must go to a lucky buyer. It's all stock except I had the a new bridge saddle carved from bone for a lower action and better intonation. Plus I added the pickguard. A big sound acoustically and good when plugged in too. I've changed the strings to a regular roundwound set but kept the original bronze set which you can have. Got a hard plastic case (cost near £50) I add pics soon. Now redused to £155. 10. It is still up for sale (even though I had a few sniffs) I don't think posting is wise as its more fragile than a solid body electric bass. I'm in London quite regularly so contact me if you really want it and we can work something out.
Hi! Is your SX still up for grabs..? I live in London and I understand from your other posts that you are in buckinghamshire. Would you post the item to London? Many thanks Francesco
14. I've had this for a few months and just got the time to re-list. It has only been gigged twice! This was going to be my 'keeper' 6 string but I'm selling only as I bought a Modulus 6 string which I could not refuse! A very good, well made instrument now pushed higher into the 'pro' region. It is in 'as new' condition with the following professional upgrades (photos added): *Bartolini M56 pickups (replaces stock MK2's) *Bartolini NTMB 918 pre-amp (replaces stock Ibanez) *Copper screened electronics compartment (to further reduce any noise) *machine screws to ferrules Electronics cavity cover (replaces 'screw to wood') for longer life *Double 9V battery compartment (re-aligned and much better than twisted original Ibanez cover) Note: An original photo of the back is added as well. This is the Ibanez description: The Ibanez BTB676 six-string bass guitar is packed with professional features including a neck-thru construction, walnut and light ash wing body and deeper cutaways, enhancing playability and delivering perfect balance. BTB basses take the traditional BTB formula--massive body and substantial neck-- and move it forward. BTBs continue to have the right mix of select woods and high-tech appointments that provide the huge tones and sustain that BTB players have come to love. The BTB676-NTF has a walnut/light ash wing body, comfortable 5-piece 'neck-thru' BTB6 maple/bubinga neck, a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays and 24 medium frets. The MR-2 bridge keeps the tuning stability rock solid. The Ibanez BTB 676 also features Bartolini MK2 pickups and onboard 3-band eq with separate bass, mid and treble boost/cut control knobs for incredible tonal variety. You could get a new one for £670 or get my 'almost new with the upgrades' for a firm £600. I'm not willing to post but can help by delivering to a reasonable meeting place from Aylesbury, Bucks. Contact me for any more details or trials etc....

 18. BUMP for "this is still here?"
Hi all, I've used this in my fretless with a Bartoini pre-amp for a short period with great results. I just bypassed the mid on the Bartolini to do this. The Bartolini is switchable to three different frequencies but the East sweeps through a range and This was better for me (especially with fretless). You can use this alone in any bass or use in conjunction with another pre-amp as I have. I decided to put a John East Deluxe pre-amp recently and so this is up for sale. I left the wires on the pins as its a delicate job and this was done by John himself. To install just join the relevant wires (for length) to your existing wires. £45 posted to you with a choice of black or gold knobs as i have both. Or for £48 I'll include both sets of knobs so you can mix if you want. The description: MID SWEEP OVERVIEW The MID SWEEP 01 is a stand-alone mid control which can be used on its own or cascaded in conjunction with other modules, including additional MID SWEEP 01s. The sweep frequency band is switchable, via DIL switches on the circuit board, between two ranges overlapping ranges. HARDWARE OPTIONS: Chrome, Black or Gold. (Can be mixed by special request) POWER REQUIREMENTS: 9-18V, 1.25mA DIMENSIONS: 20.5 X 43.5.0 X 15.0 mm (0.8" X 1.7" X 0.6") MID SWEEP 01 TECHNICAL The MID SWEEP 01 is based on the mid control stack of the J-Retro 01 bass preamp. It consists of a single dual concentric knob stack with controls for MID level boost/cut and MID FREQUENCY SWEEP setting. MID SWEEP Stack BOOST/CUT (+/-12dB) The upper knob sets the amount of Mid boost or cut at frequencies according to the setting of the Frequency knob. The midway indent is the 'flat' setting. FREQUENCY (100Hz - 1kHz or 200Hz - 2kHz) The lower outer ring sets the continuously variable Mid frequencies for boost or cut. DIL switches in the circuit board allow low or high ranges to be set. Both switch sections should be set to ON for the Low Range and both set to OFF for the High Range. POWER This unit can powered from 9 - 18 Volts DC.
22.
I'm selling my Schroeder 1212L bass cab. Manufacturer's words/specs: # One front fired 12" woofer/ One angled 12" woofer # High quality tweeter horn # 1/4 inch and speakon connectors # Custom crossover with attenuator # Frequency response 40hz - 18khz # 103db spl @ 1w/1m # 4 Ohms # 60cm x 41cm x 41cm (HxWxD) #Custom Neodymium woofers #250w Titanian Super Tweeter #800 Watts RMS #approx. 19.1 kg #The 1212 retains the clean punch of the 1210 but delivers a rounder tone with more low end. A lot of muscle and super efficient. I've owned this cab from new for almost 2 years. It has been great and reliable but I'm moving on with gear now so needs a new owner. It is in great condition. I noticed early that the back seal was not completely perfect so I had it looked at and the back panel was resealed with extra screws added for security. (The back panel in this model can be removed for servicing). I also had some Peavey metal 'sliders' put on the side so I can stand it vertical as well as horizontal. Asking £300 firm! Collection preferred/cash is king. First to see will buy and it will be sold on that basis. Gentlemen....start your engines!!! Edited to say: "I'm in Aylesbury, Bucks" Also apologies for late replies to pm's. So 'bump' now for a great cab!!
