This set was hardly used because I went for chrome instead. They replaced a 'vintage' sized set which has a diameter of 1/2" posts. They can go on any side of the headstock (great for any style headstock) asking £55 posted.. Just sold sorry..... check out my other posts: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=32472 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=32402

NOW SOLD!! This is for a 3/4 size double bass. It's the top of line model. I had a strip of leather added to the bottom for extra protection. Lovely to look at and very well made. Must go as I've got three now and can't justify keeping. I won't post this for obvious reasons and it's best to check out with your bass (if possible)for best fit. If not look online for specs or pm me for more details. Asking £135 or best ps: this is not then actual bag in the photo as my camera does not do a great job on something this size...

They are both in mint. I went to New York and got the Bardens but felt that they are too clean for me. Clear and even in across the range. Asking £135 as they are like new. The KSD's are great but I got a great deal on some custom Nordstrands as soon as I got the bass so out they came. They've got great zingy top end and clear lows. Asking £55
Hi All I have for sale: My unused Graphtech Ghost ABM Piezo Pickups for a 5 String (PN-8365-00) I originally bought these to install the hexpander system in my Warwick thumb bass but these may be suitable for both midi/piezo sounds in any other ABM style bridge. there is a close up of these saddles on Graphtechs site:- http://www.graphtech.com/products.ht...3&CurrencyID=2 These saddles are generally to be used with the Ghost Acousti-Phonic Bass Guitar Preamp or the roland/axon compatible Hexpander system with 13-pin out put but I have heard of Bass players hooking them up to other piezo preamps, filters and buffers to good effect. Also a Hipshot d-tuner. I believe this is a fairly old one as the tuner is stamped "Made in W Germany" (so would be pre 1990). It is similar to the GB7 and M4 models currently for sale on Hipshots website but has a slightly larger bassplate. And an unused set of Sperzel locking bass tuners. I bought these originally for my Warwick Thumb but decided to go for a set in gold. These are still boxed and with washers etc (cost approx £75) They are a screw-in bushing. Requires 7/16" peghead holes. Single-pin mount. A web site I found advises: Sperzels with the #2B bass buttons will take up a minimum of approximately 1.3" of space on a head stock before the buttons start to touch each other... The Maximum thickness of a head stock can be .700" (approx 45/64" ) The Minimum thickness of a head stock can be .550" (Approx. 9/16") they are black satin with silver string posts. I'm looking for about £70 on the Piezos, but open to offers on the other stuff. If no interest i'll chuck them back on ebay. Cheers Matt
PMed.... Doing any trades?
Hi, do you have any spec and dimensions for the ken smith pups? cheers, craig
Hi, I'll try my best to measure accurately. They are both exactly the same size. Length: 10.3 cm Width: 1.9 cm Height: 2.4 cm Screw holes(distance apart): 4.5 cm(same side) x 2.3 cm(opposite sides) Hope that helps... Oh and string widths :2.0 cm (so a total string width of approx 8 cm max)

Hi all, I bought these (a few months ago in the US) to put in my Modulus 4 string jazz bass and then decided that I liked the vintage set I had before. They are quite 'posh',professional and come with the highest quality reputation. Sound: clean, consistent in all registers and warm. Condition: as new in original box. Look here for review: http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazine/Issu...ups_Review.aspx Or http://joebarden.com/main.php?section=Prod...mp;pageID=JBass Asking £135 posted to you (new about 295 USD) Mike ps: not on sale anywhere else yet as wanted to give the guys the first shot at 'em... oops...wrong place for this post i think. sorry please move to the correct one!!

Hi, Just thought I'd share this with you guys. I've been using the 'Stomp' with my double bass as a pre-amp for the pickups with excellent results. John's products are of the highest quality and this is a bonus as I got it to use as a pre-amp (switching between the EQ on my electric bass to a different EQ set up on the Stomp) and as a DI box or with any passive bass guitar. Try this if you can before getting a unit that is just designed for the Double bass. The guys that play both instruments will be happy!! My electric basses have got John's onboard pre-amp and let me tell you.....It's second to none (and some are quite expensive and in my opinion poorly designed and thus over-rated! As a matter of fact I just finished an album for a singer/songwriter and I had the perfect opportunity to try both the 'Stomp' and the 'U-Retro'. The double bass was mic'd and I used an Underwood p/up with the Stomp, for more articulation. What a superb sound I got. Then I used my Modulus with the U-Retro straight to the board (with the Stomp just as a DI). Clear as a bell with much 'Booty' and warmth!! Check them out I say!! Come try my ones!! MCR get in touch with John (say Michael sent me) I'll add some photos soon...
