  6. Thanks for the help. Seeing that I have so much free time (no gigs for some strange reason:-), I may challenge myself to have a go at these. May learn some new skills and save a few quid in the process. Any help would be gratefully accepted (hellllpp🤓). This is not to take work from the obvious pros at this but...these are strange/difficult times indeed. press on musos💪🏾
  7. Ps: just remembered that I have a case with handle for this. I’ll put a couple of pics up to encourage y’all.
  8. Santa’s not on lockdown you know....😇
  9. Almost forgot about these....😱
  10. Guys point me in the direction of custom creations and people that can do little custom jobs. (pics if you have) 1) Truss rod covers: (with letters, word or even small image etc) 2) Cavity covers: Same as above but also with different materials and easy access (magnets?) Sorry if this already been covered....or I’ve opened up a can of ‘woes’. cheers
  11. A couple of 8” drivers from respected audio company Audax. Both measure 4.7ohms. One unused and in mint condition in original box, the other shows sign of use but fully tested to be working faultlessly. I have used the same model in some small bass guitar cabs and they sound great, however I don’t know the handling power. £25 for the pair or £15 each collected from Aylesbury. Or can be posted at buyer’s cost.
  12. Good buyer! And abroad to boot. Recomended for sure👍🏽
  13. Ok just move this to here then...... Good seller! Straightforward! Just the way it should be👍🏽

Then the fellow deserves for it to be said here:

      Feedback for Osiris.

It'll be easier to find when others are considering dealing with him.

  15. Ok. So you’re not, neither am I...just the tone in your quote indicated that I may be deliberately misleading, and that you may be an expert. My research indicated that it’s a 615. String winding: I know the deal (simply put it’s a silly piece of engineering by SGC Nanyo). I decided to wind them this way. (tired off this now...) Interested in any of them?
  16. They are really good basses...got the money too. I personally felt that the original pre-amp restricted what they are capable of... (having played one with original electronics and now running them through various outboard pre-amps). But views differ...see above
  17. Pre-amp: agreed Model: I did a bit of research as it indicated to what I have said. I’m no expert so could be wrong. Are you an expert? Someone may be able to correct either or both of us.... String winding: ....here we go again....wrong/right? Each his own...
  18. Yep. What you said! When I asked for that I believe Alan said something similar! 🤩 The upper cut-away allows full access to the ‘nose bleed’ register (note: the real money is at the lower end fellow bass players)! Up there is for fun....
