  1. Wow......and you're counting the days.... Buy it or go practise....🤫
  2. Not in a van yet, but blinfolded and tied up! Might swap for a ransom of 5 string Jazz pups!!
  3. Not at the moment....clearing some space (let's say keeping the GAS at bay)
  4. Totally agreed! Shame it has become surplus to me now...I'm even having second thoughts....😱
  5. Schertler quality and sound. Flexible and can be used with various instruments (I used with electric and double basses) and also voice. It comes with a padded bag for transportation and protection. Serviced and all works as it should. Note: The original colour was grey but that started to look a bit faded so it was finished in black. Looks better I say.... Also I added a sprung handle below for ‘tilt’ purposes to use as a monitor with a better listening angle. Professional gear with a lovely warm acoustic sound. More info can be found on line.... Collection from Aylesbury.
  6. The clearout continues..... Sonata Bb trumpet with standard mouthpiece and lovely case. In beautiful condition and sounds lovely. My son used this but has now upgraded as a reward for passing his grade! Collection from Aylesbury (but could drop off on route to work within a reasonable distance.... if that helps).
  7. The clearout continues...... Small/portable/light etc.... Combo amp that can be used with various electric instruments. Serviced, so in good condition and does what it is intended to do. (ie: cannot do a full on gig!!:-). Good for beginners or even for pros to practice at home or for light jams etc.... Collection from Aylesbury (or can be delivered if on route to work within a reasonable distance).
  8. Love the good comments😉keep 'em coming😇. It's a good instrument but I'm playing a 4 string fretless ABG at the moment...and happy.....so this fella is not seeing daylight (or nightlight) sadly.
  9. Ahem...back to the topic at hand....... MB1, there is an Ovation waiting on ya...
  10. Edit: SOLD. Much thanks👍🏽 I must be mad but...here goes..! This is a rare 90’s round-back, fretted 5 string, acoustic/electric model, with multi sound-holes. Black finish, with the traditional Ovation leaf design, gold tuners, OP24+ pre-amp, bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. In gorgeous condition but not being played much hence the reluctant sale. It does not come with a proper case/gig bag but I may have a soft case somewhere that I would give. (Note: now found! Yea!!!) Collection preferred from Aylesbury for safety, and that way you can actually hear how great it sounds...., but I can deliver (after payment) to a reasonable distance en route to a gig etc.....or you can take the chance. Professional set-up with round wounds, nice low action at the nut and bridge. If you decide to change strings, you may have to adjust accordingly. I’ll put a fresh 9v battery in with the sale. Thanks for looking.

  14. Hi, Impedance: That may be a question for John himself..... As for placement: I can put immediately after my bass as I can shape either a passive or an active bass tone (or even a double bass) then to the other pedals. That way, the pedals get hit with a strong signal and you effect that tone. In doing so however, you won't be using as a DI........... 'After the other pedals' option is useful too, to shape the final tones created. Plus you can have another tonal shape ready to switch in. (Slap, Reggae, mid-punch etc....) and be DI ready. Hope that helps...
  15. Bump to say ......free Uk postage!
  16. 'Weeping Demon' wah-wah pedal by Ibanez. Very good condition with box and instructions. Solid build with adjustable pedal mechanism, EQ and others.... Can be used with any instrument as it has controls to shape the way the wah behaves. I used bass guitar with fantastic results as you can keep some bass frequencies in your sound.
  17. Made by the guru John East, this unit adds fantastic EQ to passive or active electric basses and I have even used it with my double basses with great results. The switching has EQ bypass and mid frequency in/out, plus a bright toggle. On this particular one, John upgraded the balanced output that it can also be used with phantom power (away with batteries:-) so that I can go straight to the PA or even record. (probably the only one with this). I have John’s pre-amps in my basses (fretted and fretless) and I have never looked back. However I have a couple of classic basses that I wanted to leave stock but still have my familiar sound...hence the external pedal. ‘A great way to experience the East UK sound without having to mod your bass or have another sound option and added flexibility’. In great condition, and I’ll include a power supply. Asking £175 plus p&p to the UK. Now £150
