    Yep - I specified the neck profile and a non-raked headstock w/string tree for mine.

    Both great pickups. IME, the Haeussel P was a little more polite. The bridge pickup in my Sunburst (with the Haeussels) was a split-coil J, which sounded 'traditional PJ'. The Maruszczyk fat humbucker is a different beast entirely.. a high output punch monster.

    ...which seemed to be a surprise to Roger Sadowsky. Ha ha. This is a really odd development. Fact is, it's going to devalue the brand, but I guess Roger is planning his exit route.

    I watched that DVD last night (Live in Montreux). IMO it sounds nothing like his Ric. And when he switches to the Ric on some songs, it kind-of hammers the point home

    Meant to post this a little while back, but forgot. We did a charity gig in St. Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle, and were joined by a choir for a few tunes. Obviously the acoustics are astonishing (and challenging), and it was gorgeous.
