Thomann t-amp

I'm thinking of getting a Crown as they're lighter- about 12kgs vs. the 17-26kg for the T-amp. I've got a dodgy shoulder otherwise I'd go for a T-amp.

Thomann ship to Libya ok?
3. Will you be doing a YouTube to go with the Marcus Miller tab? Please And thanks for your lessons and YouTube material. Much appreciated.
4. The Thoman t-amps seems well spec'd for the prices. Does anyone use one? http://www.thomann.de/gb/power_amplifiers.html I've read elsewhere that these are the same as C-Mark amps?
5. In the video I've got of him he plays a Music Man custom made by Leo Fender and he makes it sing. And he's so damn quick as well.
6.
Louis Johnson is a monster.
He also uses his left thumb for fretting.
7. There are some examples of walking bass lines on activebass.com > lessons > jazz

15. Try this at low volume: Connect speakers back to line-out from the soundcard. Can you take a pre-out from the BT into the soundcard mic-in? Or connect the headphone out into the sound-card line-in? Unfortunately I have no idea what a Tascam BT is.
16. Thanks. Sorted

Midlands Bass Bash

That's the other half of my tuner plastic cover. Not important enough to post but if you can keep it until next time?
18. Where can I get a Music Man pearl pickguard or the basic material to make one?
19. Allow for 25% and plus £10 for the privilege. If it's small and fits in a UPS priority envelope it stands a better chance of getting through from the USA (and it helps if the sender declares it's value as less than $38 USD). Once it goes above £18 they (Customs) also include the delivery cost in the "value" of the item. In my experience you'll receive the item OK and then 2 weeks later you get a nice letter from DHL asking for a fat cheque.
20. King Tubby.
(b. 1941, d. 1989) The Dub Pioneer and remix Godfather. In the 70s Tubby's sonic science transformed the way music was made and listened to in Jamaica and around the world. Studio boffins everywhere are in his debt.
One or two records to chose from: http://www.roots-archives.com/artist/17 I can't find the link but there's an interesting article out there on the titles of scientist, prince, king etc. in relation to Jamaican music. 21. If you can read/ translate Japanes there are a few sites that look cheap: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/takamatsu/602183/681945/1786874/ http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x10941569 http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/sear...cat=0&apg=2 And Ishibashi as already mentioned: http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/ Why did they waste our time at school teaching us Latin, French and German? 22. We know a bloke whose garden is the size of Glastonbury and has a natural amphitheatre in it Check some recently posted photos....
23. Look on the bright side: 6 less mugs to wash up in future I managed to be, um, responsible for a kitchen wall unit falling off a few weeks ago. Just missed my head and a lot less crockery to wash up now
24. Boring? No! All the posts offer useful, insightful stuff. Using Rapper's Delight as your example is a big help; I'll need to read and try it out a few times but it all makes sense (how easy it is to do is another matter). I've borrowed a copy of the Ed Friedland book and will also aim to use that as well.
playing the right notes and playing at the right time
Halfway there- all the right notes but not quite at the right time
25.
however this is not really the case.
So the JB 75 vintage coils (as on the 75 reissue) can be used with a pre-amp (Aguilar OBP1 or other), with additional routing as required?
