1. Was there anything particular that you disliked on the Nemesis? What was poor about them? What did the LM do better?
2. Thanks for the reply. Another head that fits the size/ price bracket is a Kustom Groovebass 1200 (although not the weight).
3. Has anyone tried both the Markbass Little Mark II and either the Eden Nemesis NA650 or NA320? I need a smallish head as I've got a dodgy shoulder and a headphone socket is a nice-to-have (which the Markbass doesn't have). Comments, suggestions, advice etc. muchly appreciated. Thanks
4. Not a bass amp site but you may be able to get parts from World Designs: http://wduk.worldomain.net/
5. £1.29 from Maplin for this or £3.39 for this
6. Vintage to me means before I was born
7.
a 20 year old bass
Hell's teeth! Is that considered vintage? Surely not?

Midlands Bass Bash

I've just found this thread. June 16th is good for me
10. I think it had a dodgy driver before it went in the loft. 10 years later it's definetly poorly!
11. Hello from one newbie to another I live in Worcester so if ever fancy a meet-up please PM me. Although on a bass playing ability scale of 1-10, where 1= you have no fingers and 10= you're a god, I'm about a 2 1/2
12. Are these like a hifi amp? If they're quoted as 2x250 into 4 ohms, they'll be 2x125 (ish) into an 8 ohm speaker? Is the 2 x 250 so it can be connected into 2 cabs? If yes, can it be bridged for single cab use? Or are most bass speakers 4ohm and I'm talking crap?
13. Hello world, I'm new I played bass in a band at college back in the late 80's; we (I) weren't very good but it was fun. The bass ('79 Fender Precision) has been under the bed for the last decade and I sold my Marshall stack on fleabay about 4 years ago. (although while sounding great it weighed a bloody tonne!). A few weeks ago I pulled the flight case out and removed the dust bunnies. Trying to make up for lost ground and having lessons in Malvern. And my practice amp make losts of humming and buzzing noises so is probably RIP. Bugger...
