1. ...not the whole thing, mind. Just the footswitch. I've always had a problem with it coming loose at the nut, and when I took it to a gig in my rucksack* it fell apart in the bag. I've now got all the components from the switch in an envelope, but I'm not sure how to put it back together again. Does anyone know how it's all meant to fit together? I can provide photos of the components to illustrate the problem more clearly. I should also mention it looks like a really fiddly job - is it worth my time (as an amateur), or should I just bite the bullet and get someone a lot more qualified to sort it out? *I'd normally take it in a pedal board but it's easier to transport pedals in a bag sometimes. I had everything wrapped up in a t-shirt, so it was fairly secure...
2. Jealous! Well done though - let us know when you get it!

4. I always hate taking solos in a band context. This affirms what I need to do next time, and maybe I'll enjoy it more!
5.
Always liked your playing Huw, you've got a really great feel for your instrument.
Cheers mate, glad you like it!
6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liSajGcq68U New one this afternoon. Not perfect IMO, but I don't want to place the emphasis on technicality.
7. Saw this a few days ago, don't know if it's already been posted?
8. I won't know until I've heard it - big fan of the first two albums, but not really clued up on any he's released after that. I'll check it out!

11. A few months ago I was all about a particular D'Angelo bootleg - live at Cirkus, Stockholm. Easy to find on google. Pino and ?uestlove the rhythm section, obvs.

17. I moved house last week so this has slipped down my priorities. However, it is now back up for sale. Would prefer to ship to UK only. I will try to respond to all PMs as soon as possible, but please bear in mind that I'm a bit busy at the moment! Thanks, Huw
18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BIlFYvBvT4 Just found footage from a mate's uni recital last summer. We did a slowed-down version of 'I Feel For You' (with gratuitous triple-time gospel at the end!).
19. Just thought I'd let you all know that I think I sorted it out myself, without having to leave it with a tech. I don't want to speak too soon though! I decided to open it up to have a look myself - it's well beyond warranty so there was no perceivable harm in doing so. I couldn't see anything obviously wrong with it (i.e. loose parts or disconnected wires), although it was a bit intimidating to be confronted by two circuit boards! I did, however, notice a second trim pot (aside from gain) that I'd either forgotten or not known about at all. To my ears, this trim pot controls a sort of noise gate - is this right? Anyway, I found I could negate the problem detailed in my initial post by adjusting the gain and gate trims, combined with finding the optimum 'trigger' setting. As it turns out, I didn't need to have the trigger fader quite as high as I previously thought. Cheers for all the help and advice - I've actually asked for help with this issue before, but gave up in that instance. Hopefully I've found the solution this time - I'm glad I've not had to spend any money on it at least! Huw
20. Tuesday bump!
