Fun fact - when John left the band after BSSM, Buckethead auditioned for his spot.

By The Way is a great album too - I don't understand why it gets all the hate. Bar 'Carbron', I think every song is at least good.

Californication is a magnificent album. I sometimes prefer it to BSSM.

Aside from Boomers and P flats, why is the GHS catalogue so hard to come by in the UK?

I've had one amp failure in my 20 years of playing.

Can you re-use the original screws in the new straplocks ? Are they too short ?
Dave
Dunlop screws are normally chunkier in width to accommodate for the straplock size.

TBH I just screwed them straight in. If you are concerned then maybe a small needle file just to widen it slightly?
I normally use vaseline to help slide it in.

I do this to all my basses, no issues with the Sandbergs.
Did you have to modify the existing screw hole?

Has anyone changed the stock strap buttons for Dunlop strap locks?
I know the Dunlop screws typically tend to be bigger and was worried about paint cracks.

This is my old bass! I purchased it off eBay, I believe, in 2009.
I may be responsible for this entering the world of BC.
I can't remember if I did sell it on here but I know I was offered £350 for it! Cheeky git.
