    [b]Thanks for the comment, they are great sounding cabs, Matamp know how to build a great cab, which is why I am staying with Matamp They are tuned cabs, made to work with the speakers that are installed, not just a box with four holes up front! They are deeper than a regular cab From the Matamp website Dimensions: 62cm wide x 48cm deep x 64cm high Weight: Average 33kg (Depends on speaker choice). All cabinets are built with: 13 lamination Birch plywood , finished on both sides, exterior bonded (void free) WBP – Water and Boil Proof. cab is mint and comes with Roksolid cover[/b]

    Dont do many covers gogs, but when we do, we find this works well.... Slow version of Baba O'riley! Guitarist makes the keyboard part (sort of) and loops it Then we all hit the big chords, four times round, big chords, big cymbals etc, then hold the F, guitarist reverses the loop, we hold it a bit, then drummer counts into..... My Generation! seems to work and it has a little bass bit in it

    Blew a KT88 at weekend, also a couple of Sheild resistors for the valve Silly mistake, was rushing after having to unexpectedly set a PA up at a gig! I took a cab with me that was 16ohms, it's one half of two 16 ohm cabs for a total of 8 ohms. Nice compact cab, figured running it out of my GT200 8 ohm output would be cool, even tested it the night before! But I mangled to put into into the 4 ohm output socket, oooops Drove to Matamp and it got sorted there and then! Valves are getting tired though, so a re valve is next Great service from Matamp, but there is a moral in this story somewhere :-) Tony

    Yes, I got a fretted neck from lakland! I have to say I wasn't too impressed with the quality, there is a light depression across a few of the frets, the neck was a really sloppy fit and I had trouble installing three of the tuners due to slight differences in the diameters of the holes! I emailed Lakland, they were prompt to reply when I was buying the neck, but never replied to the email I sent regarding the issues I had!! But, it plays OK, took a while to get it settled, but now it's fine, wasn't worth going through all the trouble of returning it It gets a regular outing when we do an acoustic set Tony

    Both now sold Thinking of making some changes, liking the idea of a 6x10 Matamp cab under my GT 200 Matamp 4x10, 8 ohms, cover, great condition, as new £425 Weinbrock 4x10 800 watt 4 ohm. Fender bassman style cab. Celestion drivers Weinbrock or a quality boutique amp builder from Yorkshire, very cool gear!
