1. i just realised<Br>is it possible to stick a daisy chain lead onto a boss adapter?<BR><BR>would that work for powering lots of pedals (to be exact 3, Guyatone EQ, Digitech X-series Flanger, Boss RC-20XL)<BR><BR>(i just saw someone said they powered loads of pedals from just 2 adapters so...)
 2.
Absolutely none that I've experienced - "Creates no noise or mains hum" Best value for money effects daisy chain adapter IMO.
Thanks, sounds good to me. And it's cheaper than buying 4 psu units.
 3.
http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/9v-dc-r...y-chain-2-p.asp £17 and more power than you're ever likely to need (1.33A - about half as much as the Diago). That's what I use anyway, and it works so I guess it's good.
Thanks. Does it produce any excess hum or anything? I imagine you would've said if it did but i just thought i'd ask
 4. I'm looking for a multi-pedal power supply, either in the form of a butterfly chain or a power unit with seperate outputs. Any ideas on ones you lot would rate as websites, as you know, all tell me they're the best. I saw this... http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-power/pedal-power/ and it looks very fancy plus other reviews say it's damn good so have any of you lot tried one out? Thanks.
 5. I just bought a Guyatone pedal. Very nice, well packaged. Postage took a few days due to not being able to access a post office but nowadays that's no suprise. Thanks, Ashok.
 6.
All still going mate paypal is fine
slightly too late, i just bought one from someone else.
 7. Quick and cheap postage. Bought a book of scales and shall trust him with future transactions. (also if you forget to pay him he politely reminds you, no unnecessary swearing or anything) Thanks.
 8.
bump!
is that EQ sold yet if not then i'll have it. (assuming you'll accept paypal for payment)
 9. damn it. all my strings, though hardly used, have been cut down to suit my bass so they wont fit a fender. (my headstocks a 2+2 so the D and G wont be long enough for you) sorry for 'leading you on', i hope someone else can find some to trade.
 10.
Ideally looking for a 100,80,60,40 set Jake
i'll have a look tomorrow for what i've got then reply. I'll have strings of that gauge tis just a case of working out what's what cause i've just ordered it as 'E strings' 'A strings' etc. hmm...i've just realised there might be a problem with the sizing of some of them. I'll check what i have then reply, i hope i can find the right length ones now.
 11. not a sale as such, but still this guy did give me his fx pedal FREE! so i think it's worth some feedback, and here it is. Erm yeah...nice guy, gave away and fx pedal and only 2.50 for postage so I dont think i can say anything bad about him. He even has good communication skills (by that i mean he'll manage to keep a 'message conversation' going longer than just 'here's the money, have fun'. Which i quite appreciate. So yeah, if he sticks anything up for sale, or another give away , i'd try and be the first one there. Enjoy. (oh yeah and he posted really really quickly even though it was just a give away)
 12.
I'm pretty sure they're 45 - 100 but not to sure, i'll try to find out! Cheers Jake Will do mate.
coolio. what gauge strings do you want to trade for. i have a completely unused set that came straight off a fretless i had made. (i changed them for flatwounds) and they're long enough for a jazz bass neck so should be long enough for you. They're quite a heavy gauge...probably about 105-110 on the E (that's heavy in my opinion anyway) Or i have some thinner strings, whatever takes your fancy i will probably have (so long as they're not thicker than 110 on the E
 13.
Recently got a Fender P with pretty much brand new Ernie Ball flatwounds! Never really been a flat wound player so looking for some nice, new roundwounds that will have a G strings long enough to fit! Cheers Jake
what gauge cause i might be able to help? (i aint too sure of my gauge strings cause i have a load of sets which i've used for a couple of weeks then changed the whole set...just cause one broke) quite simply, thick, medium or thin? (with approx size numbers.) ...how simplistic
 14.
A good deal, but I'm looking more for something I can stack tracks together on without a computer. I've already got a good mixer.
only just seen this post so my advice may be kinda late. Micro BR, freaking excellent. I use it for all my recording, which i do quite a bit of. All 'garage' stuff (by that i mean it's literally done in a garage) with mics and stuff hooked upto a mixer then plugged in via a 'Line In' on the 4-track. If it's just for straight plugging in, of a bass or something, then agian it's damn good for that too. plus if you want to mess about there's a load of fx and amp modelling available. I haven't ever used the rhythm on it but i imagine it'd be good given the quality of the rest of it. Only problem is that it can go through batteries quite quickly, so either use rechargeables or get a PSU (costs a bit but it's worth it to save buy loads of batteries) - 32-tracks (8 virtual tracks on each of the 4 tracks) - REALLLY easy to use controls but can take a bit of time to use due to having to flick through options - Built in condenser that's pretty good quality but not absolutely amazing - Line In and 3/4" input (so all you could want i'd imagine) plus the 'Line In' can provide 2.5V plug in power It's just generally really good. If you want an example of recordings then check out. www.myspace.com/thepagansspace Deadcat Blues was done using mics hooked upto a mixer hooked into the 4-track (using the "Line In") Hope this helps someone. (i can't comment on other recording devices cause they has been all i've ever had to use, i'd say it's probably as good if not better than them though)
MB1. Ash Saks just put his swimming trunks on and grabbed a towel!
I forgot my trunks and couldn't find the pedals. Damn it.
 16.
I'll get it sent over to you first, then we can sort stuff like that out later if necessary.
class. well i look forward to it. If i can't get it fixed then i shall repost it so someone else can have a go though, if it's only a small problem then i imagine i can get it fixed. thanks again.
 17.
I got the gist mate! Like I said, needs a bit of work but if you're handy I'm sure it can be resurrected.
i aint particularly but i know a few guys who are a bit handy so they shall be getting a call soon. And if you want some feedback i'm all for posting it, i dont know what the 'rules of feedback' are
 18.
Ash_sak by a whisker. Sorry mate.
i posted a 'wanted: FX pedals' thread on this a week ago and i didn't think anyone would actually offer free fx. i was sending that message as quickly as i could so i hope it made sense.
 19.
For the postage (or collection), you can have a Zoom BFX708 Bass Effects processor that's been sat on a shelf next to my wife's flute (not played since school) and some piano books that got donated to me (never opened since I've had them). I gigged it for a while so it's not in mint condition, I'll post pictures when I work out how. This is a link to the manual: http://www.zoom.co.jp/archive/English_Manual/E_BFX708.pdf It's got a few issues:

the input jack socket is a bit unreliable, I wouldn't gig it without checking out the soldering and all that, you can get intermittent sound from it with a wiggle.
The thing takes 4 AA batteries but the battery cover is long gone.
I think the power input is dodgy too.
Other than that, it seems okay. If you're interested, let me know.
message sent.
The bass overdrive does indeed sound terrible, a side by side comparison with the Boss one showed them to be near identical, fractionally more hiss with the treble turned past 2o'clock on the Behringer.
one of my friends who play bass bought an overdrive pedal and said it was crap so that has been part of my hesitation against touching them, though from looking on ebay there's some going quite cheaply. Especially compared to other models, and since i dont really know what fx i'm really looking for to use full time a couple of quid on trying it out first ain't too bad.
including me iv had the limiter and the sustainer, both equal to their boss equivilants, and seemed less noisy
really, whoa. Next time i'm around a guitar shop i shall check if they've got any i can try out. I'm not really an fx user, as of yet anyway. Apart from a loop pedal (that's been on order since before christmas) i dont use anything. ...not yet anyway
