  1. If you are looking to donate the proceeds anyway they would be perfect for me. I build basses and give them away to local schools and clubs etc. I would make sure they were used for a great purpose but understand if you want to stick with original plan. Jon
  2. Great deal. Bought some strings from Loz which arrived safely, Loz had even cleaned them 👍 Feel confident trading with Loz and would do it again in a heartbeat Thanks again Jon

  5. I should also mention the perfect wiring loom from @KiOgon I never buy one from anyone else Jon
  6. Have built this over the last fortnight. Body from guitarbuilds who were brilliant throughout as it was a custom order, took nearly 6 weeks to get it but well worth the wait. The neck is an Allparts one I managed to buy from @Storky Frnder pickups and a set of Steve Harris flats I got from @kristo It sounds fantastic and has a really low action, making the Pickguard tomorrow which is going to be black. Jon
  7. I have two Staffies that could take him on but only If it was a sleeping competition or maybe who can get under a duvet the quickest. Killer dogs my derrière. Here is Moose in all his killer glory

  13. If this is still going free I would love it for one of my charity jobs? I would give it a bit of TLC before passing it on the a school or something similar. I would be happy to pay for courier and packaging. Would be an amazing donation Jon
  14. Morning all. I need to say a big thank you to someone but I am not sure who. Can whoever sent this stuff please let me know so I can say thanks Jon

  17. @KevL that would be amazing, thanks Jon
  18. This is the Shell Pink one all painted and cavities all covered with copper tape ready to have Pickguard and pickups and loom put in tomorrow. I got a loom and pickups from a Harley Benton P bass on here last week for £18 which will do for this. It’s a mahogany body but it’s no weight at all so I will make sure it is for a younger kid. When I get a suitable neck it’s another one ready to go The bridge and Pickguard that will be used for this one were amongst the box of bits donated by @Shepster8316 a top bloke 👍👍👍👍 Jon
  19. The next one is shell pink 🤣 I’m just waiting for a maple neck to come up for it as the vintage colour looks awful ☹️ Jon
  20. Some lovely people in the world amongst the dregs it restores your faith in humanity Jon
  21. And yes the truss rod hole needs painting black 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jon
  22. Only things on there that were paid for was the high mass bridge and the pickups a set of Kent Armstrong’s I bought from here Jon
