If anyone is interested, I've decided to build a recording studio in my back garden. I'm getting fed up with travelling over 150miles in a round trip to the wilds of Essex every time we want to record so am taking the plunge in building my own. So far over the past few weekends there's been some good progress:

Thank you; they are indeed superb. I upgraded to the Adam Audio A5x and Sub8. I only have the box for the T10S.
I've just bought a set of A7X monitors. Not had a chance to get them set up yet though. I've heard great things about them.

I've got a set of Wilkinson tuners which are clover style if you're interested (plus a little cash my way).

My PB20 turned up today. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but it's completely blown me away. I love the matt black paint just but everything about it - the weight, the paint job and even the sound is good - but when you consider the price it really is great. The hardware (tuners and bridge aren't the best) is adequate and is the only slight downside to this absolute bargain of a bass.

Seymour Duncan SPB3 Quarter Pound Pickup (£60)
New red pearl scratchplate (£11)
Wilkinson tuners (£30
Gotoh bridge (£30)
So effectively I'll be getting an above average awesome sounding P-bass for under £200- 1

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that this chap on ebay is doing pickguards for several HB basses, he will soon be doing one for my PB-20. Have a look at this link for any of your Harley Benton pickguard needs.

Happy Friday
That's interesting. I'm really after a red tortoiseshell scratchplate but want to see how red the stock one is. it looks pretty dark from photos I've seen, I'm after the lighter red coloured scratchplate.

I've got one of these and have never regretted buying it. I'm a 5-string player but always find myself coming back to my DW Spector. They're great basses, the neck is superb and if you're a fan of Jazz Bass necks then this is even more ergonomic. Can't recommend these enough.

Mine too. Have some EMG Geezer pickups to put in mine at some point....
That's the setup I'm going for too.
It always baffled me why Fender didn't come out with a Precision in this colour scheme. It's my ideal colour scheme for a P-bass.- 2

Holy crap, I love the look of this bass so I've just ordered one from thoman. I was looking for a precision so this will fit the bill nicely.

Damn, I've just bought a Sansamp Para Driver. Thanks f@Lozz196
the heads up though👍🏻 -
I'm sure he's trying to list it for £900 but is having problems with noughts on his keyboard

If you want a really versitile amp with crystal clear cleans, meaty cunch channel and a superb hi-gain lead channel then it has to be the H&L Trilogy. They're fantastic amps

Really considering this amp, been wanting to try GK amps with my Spector for a while. How are they at lower volume... like pub gigs? I play rock covers, mainly 80s stuff. Eddie Jackson's tone is what I'm chasing!
I use mine with a Spector Euro LX Doug Wimbish and a Euro LX 5 -String and they both sound awesome, they really cut through well. The perfect balance of bottom and top end.

I think it’s about 60kg but it’s not too difficult to move with the wheels. It’s definitely a two man lift though
I was going to say, you're a bit like a Darlek with them things - fine as long as there's no stairs!

Cheers fellas. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time but just haven't had the funds or had been unwilling to invest so heavily into something like this. Then I had an epiphany and thought, well life is too short, let's go for it.
You wouldn't be the first to suggest I call it that and I'm giving it some serious consideration. 😇
