    So finally got to gig my red R-400 Sat night. I'm not used to volume controls going past 12 o'clock on modern amps but there was still plenty of clean juice left in the tank and a superb tone from the valve pre-amp. And she's a bit of a stunner too [url="http://s1266.photobucket.com/"]http://s1266.photobucket.com/[/url] The lights on the front are actually red. Sorry for the poor photo.

    Just got a message from Leszek today to say that my red R-400 will be ready on Thursday. It's been a long wait but i'm feeling excited now

    If the Big One has an Eminence 3015LF in it then that is causing the problem. I have a similar cab (fEARful 15/6) which has that driver in it and it distorts with all three of my 500w Mark Bass amps (LM11, F1, F500) but not with my Hartke ah3500. Hope this helps

[/quote] I reread the 69er thread and it was the 69er that has a modified guitar speaker in it but its good to see Alex going back to ferrite to get where he wants with this cab. I thought that fridges started to roll off at about 100hz but the specs on the Retro10 says 40hz so can we assume this cab will have more extended bass compared to a fridge?

    Up for sale is my Epifani UL310 series1. This cab is in very good condition as you can see in the photos. A few scuffs to the plastic corners but very minor. This cab can go very loud and is rated at 750 watts. Good deep bottom end and crystal clear in the high frequencies. (40HZ-16KHZ) It weighs 22KG (47lbs) and is reguarded as being more desirable than the series 2.
