  1. It seems my eyesight has let me down there. I was sure the label said 2 / 4 ohms. I just put my glasses on and it actually says 4 / 8 ohms.
  2. It can also be switched to 2 Ohms.
  3. What's the frequency Kenneth - REM
  4. F**kin up - Neil Young
  5. I hate myself and I want to die - Nirvana This one needs to be followed with something more positive I think.
  6. I'm using an Orange Terror head which has two 4 ohm speaker outputs and at the moment I'm using a single Orange 4x10 8 ohm cab. I'd like to add a 1x15 cab for some extra bottom end. Would the 1x15 have to be 8 ohm as well or will 4 ohm be OK? Does it matter whether it's an Orange cab?
  7. Check out local music groups on social media and ask for amp repair recommendations. I've had a few repairs done by local electronics engineers who work out of their garage.
  8. A song for the deaf - Queens Of the Stone Age
  9. The Queen is dead - The Smiths
  10. Satan - Orbital
  11. Up the junction - Squeeze Too late
  12. Flat Earth Society - Bad Religion Or anything by Deftones with their flat earth guitarist.
  13. 72 Hookers - NOFX
  14. Avenues and Alleyways - Rancid
  15. White Lines - Duran Duran
  16. I'm really excited about it. I've not seen them live before. I'm expecting something like Motorhead, loud, raw and rough but tight and heavy and a big wall of sound
  17. Genesis - Deftones
  18. A brilliant song in an absolutely brilliant film. Burn by The Cure in The Crow.
  19. Freebird has probably been used in dozens of films and understandably so. This use of the song, in my opinion is brilliant, I couldn't think of a better match for the scene. One of my favourite films as well. The acting isn't great, the plot is ropey but it's just a really horror entertaining film. Judgement Night probably has the greatest heavy metal soundtrack ever recorded for a film. Shame the film was terrible though.
  20. Guerilla Radio - Rage Against The Machine
  21. Demon Cleaner - Kyuss
  22. Definitely tell them, they deserve to know. The problem is that goof drummers are hard to find so it might take you a while to find a replacement and you may not actually get out and gig any sooner than waiting for your current drummer.
  23. Funeralopolis - Electric Wizard
  24. Shooting Star - Gojira
  25. Have you heard the Gang of Four tribute album, The Problem of Leisure? It is absolutely superb and there's some really amazing musicians on it.
