4. Tons of requests with trades - no cash offer :-( Still available !
5. Just bought a Hipshot piezo bridge from Simo. He is a great seller - very supportive and he shipped the item as fast as possible. Would deal with him every time again... Rainer from Germany
6. Thanks lee650 ! Yes it is amazing and I would never sell this one if it would have a slightly wider string spacing.
7. Extract from the Spector site: "The Spector Limited Edition Redwood Burl NS-5XL is crafted with 75-to-100 year-old, water-cured redwood burl. The redwood burl rests on a platform of Spector's legendary hand-selected, premium exotic woods: maple for the neck and black walnut for the body wings. Water-cured redwood is harvested from the stumps of redwood trees cut down 75-100 years ago that fell into streams. These trunks were submerged in water the entire time, which washed all the resins out of the wood and replaced them with dissolved minerals. This natural mineral enrichment process is what gives the wood its unique color and density. This natural water curing is very similar to the method that has been used for curing violin woods in Europe for hundreds of years. The Spector NS-5XL 5 string bass guitar is constructed with 3-ply maple neck-thru construction with graphite stiffening rods and a heavy-duty truss rod."
8. Price at Basscentral for this model: Retail $6799 Sale $4499

Low action, very versatile F Bass electronics with true passive option (nice 60s vintage vibe) and very useful, organic sounding 3-Bd EQ, non-original lightcase (Sadowsky-like), Price at German distributor for similar model 4.190,- EUR, Retail at F Bass >5k USD. 10. Selling my Spector NS-5XL USA, very nice bass with thundering lows and explosive attack, string spacing <17mm at the bridge, which is too narrow for me unfortunately, so it has to go. Spec: 35', Neckthrough, Water-Cured Redwood Top, Walnut Body, Pau Ferro Board, Oil Finish, Gold HW, Originl Spector Hardcase Weight 4,4 kg The oil finish is not really reliable, so it has some dings and dongs on the body even if it has been played not very much, considering the very good condition of the frets, neck and board is perfect, low action, deep and crystal clear sound. Bass is located in Duesseldorf / Germany Withdrawn - sorry !
11.
Bump... I'm open to (sensible) offers, or maybe even a part-ex on something, particularly recording gear
PM sent.
12. Here is a review of another Chronos 5 with a similar config: Review Chronos 5
13. I made a closer inspection on the bass and found a couple of small dings all over the body. So it lost the showroom condition some players might desire on those boutique basses. Besides this it is a wonderful playing and sounding Fodera with a still breathtaking top ! Due to the dings I reduced the price dramatically.
14.
My YOB bass too. 5 Months and 9 days older than me. A
Don't get confused by the "5" before "APR 66". the "5" indcates that this is a Precision Bass neck. "7" is for Fender Jazz necks ... It does NOT mean APR 5th ...
