1. Selling my beloved Fender Jazz Bass 1965 Spec: 100% Original Alder Body, 3-Tone-Sunburst, Tortoise Guard, Year: 1965 Serial: 104xxx Neck date: 7 OCT 65 A Pots: 13765xx Pickups: green bobbins Weight: 3,9 kg Fingerrest and Chrome Covers included non-original Fender-like black Tolex case, as new. Finish is wonderful crackled all over the body and the headstock. Nice worn and broken-in neck back. Action is very low and the truss rod works. SOLD - Thanks !
 2. Selling my beloved Fodera Imperial 5 Spec: Chestnut Burl Top (not available anymore) Alder Body, Brazilian Rosewood Board 35 scale Year: 1999 Pickups: Seymour Duncans Dual Coils Pope preamp Weight: 4,7 kg Action is very low. Groundshaking B. I made a closer inspection on the bass and found a couple of small dings all over the body. So it lost the showroom condition some players might desire on those boutique basses. Besides this it is a wonderful playing and sounding Fodera with a still breathtaking top ! Selling only because I found a very expensive and wonderful early 60 JB :-) Bass is located in Duesseldorf / Germany. SOLD ! Pics here (any details available on request): Imperial 5 Chestnut

 10.
I've seen this before, and I think it's to do with being a black headstock. Fender had their standard transfers which they used, and they had black text, and obviously that wouldn't show up on the black background. Knowing what Fender were like in those days, I'd assume they couldn't see the point of going to the extra expense of creating alternative transfers for a few custom colour instruments.
I had the same concerns when I purchased this bass. Since then I've seen only a few black MHS but they all featured the shortened decal. All other custom colour MHS had the full decal. One trustful reference might be the book "The Fender Bass" from Black & Molinaro - they show on page 56 a copy of the Jazz bass Ad in the 1970 Fender catalog. It is a Black JB with black MHS where you can see the same transfer layout like on my 63JB.

 15. Up for sale is my wonderful, MINT condition Mike Lull M5V Not a single mark on it except of some slap wear on the pickguard - even the protection foils on the electronics covers were intact before I shot the pics today. Very low action, deeeeep and huge B string. Perfectly balanced on the strap. Wonderful satin finished neck. Seymour Duncan Pups in 60 s positions, Aguilar OBP-3 preamp, 35" scale. This bass has a vey nice 60s vibe on a 5-string. Original, very reliable Lull (ProTec) lightcase included. There is also a black pickguard included - I preferred the Tortoise guard. Fresh DR MM Sig strings installed. Bass is located in Germany / Duesseldorf. Shipping to UK is about 70 GBP. Asking 1.750 GBP plus shipping.
