Well 5 days into the year and I've already taken delivery of a Laney RB9 and speaker cab so things are looking pretty good for this year (not for my wallet though). Still after a new bass so either a Squire vmj or one of the classic vibes,Ibanez Atk/Thunderbird/Traben array/Vintage V4 or AV4.......oh dear oh dear, better start doing some overtime!

There les pauls are beautiful. Play and sound muuuch better than epi's. However i've heard mostly bad things about there bass'

Singlecuts and icemen. Signlecuts make me angry. Have no idea why but just looking at them fills me with rage, how weird is that And I love icemen guitars, have one myself but for some reason I really dislike the bass.

As a guitarist the squire name leaves me with such a bad taste in my mouth but there bass' seem to be pretty damn good. Starting to doubt getting an atk300 for one of those 50's style precision bass :wub:

Agree with you there MacDaddy, that place was heaven. Not a huge fan of coda, you really have to know what you're looking for. Some of there prices are brilliant but others can be outrageous!

Hi all, I'm Ross,19 and from Luton. Started playing electric guitar about 4 years ago before seeing the light and swapping to bass. Been playing for about a year on a cheap legacy p bass and am looking to buy me a nice new bass and amp, now that I've started up my own 60s to present day covers band. Must say I'm having twice as much fun learning bass then I ever did playing electric, one of the best decisions I've ever made methinks. See y'all around
