I have a 1997 Fender Big Apple stratocaster. The big apple strat come from a range of upmarket guitars that included the Roadhouse strat (3 texas specials) the Lonestar strat (2 texas specials and a seymour duncan humbucker) and the big apple (two seymour duncan humbuckers a pearly gates and a 59). As the range was higher than a standard strat and this cost about £1200 the price of a vintage reissue it came with a C and G case like the custom shop guitars and better woods pickups finishes etc. Lots of birds eye on the neck. This guitar is absolutely mint has just had a set up and new strings ready to sell the action is very low in fact lower than I like but great if you are a shredder. The five way switch gives you strat and humbucking sounds: 1 Bridge Humbucker 2 2 single coils out of phase 3 2 humbuckers 4 Neck single coil 5 neck humbucker would trade for the right guitar (such as a telecaster but others considered) or valve amp but this was 1200 quid new so I would be looking for something of similar value or straight sale this is much better than a standard strat. AND IS MINT MINT MINT For cash £600 it is for sale elsewhere at £700 REDUCED TO £500 FOR CASH TAKE IT AWAY IT WILL GO NO LOWER AS I HAVE BEEN OFFERED £500 TRADE IN AGAINST A TELECASTER OR WILL SWAP FOR USA TELECASTER OR JAP TELE PLUS CASH OR TOP ACOUSTIC http://s639.photobuc...0Apple%20strat/ here are the rest of the pictures skez

I have recently completed 3 years playing bass with a functions band and decided for the moment I am going to concentrate on my 6 string duties for a while. I may do the odd dep gig but that will not require all the gear I have got so I am having a bit of a clearout. I bought this about a year ago of pete_young a fellow basschatter there is some debate as to whether it is a SB 315 or a SB 425 I have had loads of three series bass collections and they all have the same tailpiece and machine heads (by Gotoh) and the same SGC nanyo pickups and most were solid colours. This guitar has a much more sophisticated bridge (by Gotoh- and it is the original) with the ability to adjust the spacing between each string along with the usual height and length adjustments. It also has a transluscent finish ash body as nice as you will see. Which i was led to believe were only used on the higher quality ranges I also have a black 315 and that is a jazz style with a brass nut and Ive seen a few and they were all like that Any I have never seen another it was gigged regularly until April. ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED ive just sold 2 other bass collections and am keeping (315, 310, 301) http://s639.photobuc...chat%20adverts/ have a look at larger pictures the body on this is fantastic Anyhow I paid £250 for it and thats what I want these basses were over £800 in the late 80s and are of very high quality far better than their price would suggest. I would find a case for cash skez
