yes im badge whore!!...but not for fender!! and this weekend i fulfilled it buying a rickenbacker 4004....wich i think was on here not so long ago,i also have a 70s lawsuit shaftesbury 4001 copy which is my pride and joy,its rare,but the downside being i always remember a mate telling me that if i gigged with a copy id just get laughed at,we were about 15-16 he was in bands gigging,so i took the trc of my shafty,and then it got lostin the mists of time or knowing my mother it got chucked,just like the 3/4 fender copy i had,also the kawasaki chopper i built but hey ho!!,but in this day and age of ric copys being rare as hens poo id love that trc back on it...knowing ric 4003s are more common than my copy!!....i also have an epi tbird, i love it no shame there either...i have a gsm 200 ibby......well shamed!!...not really!! i may restring it and use it as a recording bass,BUT i am well proud of my shafty!! like said earlier peavey are good basses,not an in name so cheap to buy,also the guy i bought my ric off had an old worn billy sheehan yamaha wich was his go to bass,altho he had an alembic and another exotic,his first was the yam...again very cheap to buy.....

we had 14 yr old lad open for us last year there was him on acoustic,he had some bongos and a looper he mades some good tunes out of what he did.wasnt overly done he knew when he had enough loops to sound good.

i got 4...and im thinking of buying another!

in my head i got some great moves...in reality im stuck to the spot,afraid to make mistakes!! some times i forget to breathe while playing,or if i move i cant hear my monitoring,but some of our best gigs are after i made mistakes and i dont care then!! but i cant move to far as im behind a box containing midis...im not operating them singer is! as for dressing up im up for it,i have goggles,wich im not allowed to wear...i also have a emulsion suit and face mask but the rest dont want to wear them!!,i wear black tshirt n cargo pants in black,i tried to get the others to do it but they wont one wears tees with stoopid slogans on,on stage due to the box it dont leave much room to move,but being techno rock we couls adapt a cyber kind of image,but we would be better with lights and visuals...anyone know any cheap ones? also we would like a dancer or 2 like hawkwind!

worst bass head i had was marshall mb450..... one i keep going back too.....laney dp 150 BOOM!! suprising... peavey kb 100 (75w?) pushed a lot of air!

i was thinking about trying a DI box we have knocking about!

we use one....it takes us bout 3 hours to programe a song!!! but i think thats cuz no one can be arsed to learn how to properly!!! but once u learn how to they not that hard have a look on youtube i think theres quite a lot on how to on there we have ours hooked up to 2 other drum machines

anyone use them? as saturday i played at the hope n anchor islington,i didnt take my bass gear,so i got there and the only thing there was a battered 100w peavey keyboard amp with 115. thinking oh this is gonna be sh*te,thinking 100w would be a fart in a caulinder....plugged in give it about 10 oclock and was really suprised with the sound...some one a good 15ft felt the air being pushed like nuclear fall out!!!! i was quite impressed.....!!!! i thought it was 100w but seems to be 75w!! so loud!

yea i did run a mic pre amp thro it,and i just tried it with EQ,wich to a degree boosted it,it 4 ohm which is what speakers im using,so its running correctly,ill look out for a cheap pre amp,or are there any pedals? sans amp is bit expensive!!

i down loaded the driver from m-audio called enigma i can see enigma need to have control file dropped,also the laptop dont see the keyboard

anyone use these? i have a native instruments pro-53 and a oxygen8 v2 midi keys,i cant figure out how to get these to work together....im clueless......

i boosted it earlier with an EQ pedal but it stil give a clip/fart sound full at certain frequencies,i was using a mic pre amp but didnt realy make it very much louder,unless im clueless about power amps!!

he did a couple,he also did the vocal on time on dsotm i belive

with syd b they wrote good songs for hawkwind to make better!!

i neither like fenders or the beatles....i cant say there rubbish as they both very popular...i just think the davieses or the wilsons were far better song/lyric writers...the who were technicaly better band,the beatles just rode gravey trains...like a statement they pioneered psychadelia or prog.....pahleeesseee....moodys were there!! but each to there own i like others think they are overrated....

kudos to steve k!!!...by the way did u have one of them big hats in the rubettes?...its like guy i know was in hawklords/hawkwind....then left them to go to pilot..oh oh oh its magic!! the carpenters are great...its a great come down after listening to lawnmower deth,electro hippies..... a fave song of mine is biology by girls allowed!! it goes a bit hawkwindy in it!!
