  1. Gigged with mine too at the weekend! Despite being outside and playing into an 8ohm cab didn’t need to go past 3!
  2. Here’s my OB1500 .... an epic piece of kit! I bought it here on BC maybe 6 months ago and, of course, other than a handful of rehearsals, have had very few opportunities to use it since. Long story short, I’m now downsizing everything, (bought a Little Orange bass Thing) so sadly, this is now a bit surplus. Given the weight of it, collection only please. Happy to meet somewhere mutually agreed for gas!
  3. Thanks Dan - much appreciated! I have been using a PJB flightcase in rehearsals for a while and do love the sound ... just not quite enough for gigs. I have been looking for a Super Flightcase but can’t find one anywhere in the UK. so thought the C8 might do it powered by my Little Orange Bass Thing 500. Could be that I also go the 2xC4 route! Thanks again for taking the time.
  4. Anyone have any experience of these cabs? Thinking of taking the plunge!
  5. Love mine! Did an outdoor gig with it running my Barefaced Super Twin and didn’t push it past 3 ... hopefully this pic will help with feet spacing!
  6. Hey - that’s a nice looking rig and could be what I’m looking for ..... still available??
  7. So here is my SuperTwin - in great condition and I am the second owner of this amazing cab. I haven’t pushed this at all and I know the previous owner didn’t either. The cover does have a few specks on it, but otherwise in great shape. The only reason I’m looking to rehome her is that I’m downsizing even further! don’t want to ship her so collection only I’m afraid or happy to meet up safely somewhere mutually agreeable!
  8. Here’s my Ampeg stage amp. It’s a monster - 1000 watts of Ampeg tone. Right now, that’s about 900 watts more than I actually need. For those that know, it’s a revision C. (That’s a good thing!) Housed in a Chord 2U flight bag with a handy pocket on the top. It’s reasonably heavy so prefer not to post/courier. Collection in Bournemouth Dorset or will meet somewhere mutually agreed for the cost of the gas. Will courier at buyers cost and risk!
  9. Here’s my Phil Jones Session combo. I bought this new maybe two months ago and immediately ordered a Roqsolid cover for it. Consequently, it’s in perfect shape and only used for two rehearsals. Oh, this thing is amazing for it’s size, but if you know Phil Jones gear, you’ll know. Comes with original box and paperwork. Collection from Bournemouth Dorset preferred or happy to meet up within reason for gas! Will courier at buyers cost and risk.
  10. Here’s my BF ST .... a really excellent cab, ridiculously light and VERY loud! If you know Barefaced then you’ll know what this cab is and what it’s capable of! Collection from Bournemouth, Dorset preferred or happy to meet somewhere reasonable for gas! Will courier at buyers cost and risk.
  11. Hi all - so this one has been the subject of some discussion here on BC ... there’s a thread here somewhere - I’ll see if I can include a link. It’s here: To be honest I have had this on EB last week - some interest but no actual buyer, so I thought I’d drop the price and offer it up here. (Should have done that in the first place ...) So here’s my trusty Jazz .... I’m downsizing in every way, so I think it could be time to say goodbye. Truth is though, I’ve always been a bit dubious about this bass ... I bought it in 1999 from a big bass store in east London with the understanding that it was from 1969. That’s what the neckplate suggests, but we all know about those. As you can see from the pics, there is no neck stamp, the pocket looks a bit rough and the scratchplate has been hand-cut around the plate for some reason. Having said that, the bass FEELS, plays and sounds old Fender, if you know what I mean. Always happy to answer questions where I can and to take more pics if needed. Collection from Bournemouth would be preferred - or could meet somewhere mutually convenient. If shipping is required I will only send this inside the UK fully insured at whatever that costs.
  12. Hmmm.... good question! I didn’t fit it and didn’t think to ask the previous owner - sorry!
  13. Sorry guys - only just seen your posts ... not getting alerts for some reason. It’s a contoured top and yes, it’s a really good relic job in my opinion. The only thing they missed was the tuners - too sparkling!
  14. So here’s my early Precision - it’s a Squier that’s been relic’d (not by me) and they did a pretty good job IMHO. It has a Nordy pickup installed, sounds good and plays very well. There’s no case I’m afraid, but I’ll pack it as well as I can. Happy to provide more pics or answer questions. Cheers!

I’d appreciate any thoughts from you guys before I put it up for sale. All comments welcome!
  16. So I don't forsee any of us getting back to live work anytime soon ... OK, here's yet another lockdown video. BigBrassSka.m4v
  17. Sorry mate - went some time ago! Will change the status to sold! Cheers.
  18. So here’s my trusty PF500 which I’m offering in a sturdy soft flightcase. Easy to transport with loads of space inside and in the zippered pocket for cables, pedals, etc. The zipper tags have been lost along the way, but they work just fine with the tags I’ve attached. The amp itself is in great condition, plenty of Ampeg tone and has never let me down. I also have the original Ampeg box if required. Happy to deliver locally (Bournemouth, leave it at the doorstep) or to send by courier at cost. Paypal only please, thanks.
  19. Definitely that great Ampeg sound in a light package. A pro-level Class D amp pushing 500 watts into 4 ohms. I’ve owned this fantastic amp for over 4 years and it has never let me down. For clarity, this is the US version with a 240v selector, it works exactly as it should over here! In good condition with a couple of very light scuffs on the lid if that’s important! Happy to deliver within sensible radius of BH1 and to conduct our business through the letterbox ...
  20. Thanks for letting me know - you still digging the 12B/6T??
  21. Rats - now I got to figure out how to move it!
