1. Depends on the year of manufacture, they were initially made in the US then they outsourced production after a few years, should say on the amp somewhere..
2. I bought a custom shop jazz off Jon, the bass was great and exactly as described, good communication and even picked me up from the tube station when i came to view the bass. Jon is a great bloke and a reliable seller. Buy with confidence!
3. Bit late to the party with the feedback thread! Please let the abuse commence!!
4. Trades considered for the Focus or the Bergantino.. Aguilar Tonehammer 500 Barefaced 15 Cabinet.
5. Had a couple of PMs asking about this so thought i would add this to the post, certificate of authenticity..
6. Bump for this link of the bass recorded with new roundwound strings, it does the vintage thing amazingly with flats or deader strings but this demonstrates the sound and output. The bass is drop D tuned on this song.. https://soundcloud.c...w-robert-harder

11. Still available, thanks for all the interesting trade options so far and apologies for any delays as i have been away.. This is an incredible bass.. i have been playing it and loving it the last few weeks, you really can't get any better than this for a jazz.. I just cant afford to keep it! The cash price i am looking for is £1600
12. Price drop to £800 to get this going.. After some previous posts questioning the age of the neck i can conform from the neck stamp that it is indeed a '75 neck. I have been through a lot of research and checked the neck stamp number against online calculators. According to these the neck is from late '75. I have also spotted a 1975 precision for sale on denmark street, it also has a skunk stripe. I can only assume these are "transition period". Long story short the neck is genuine. I am currently reluctant to split the bass into parts as i think it sounds great and feels god and deserves to be played.
13. I am linking into some other adds of stuff i have to sell as some is Double Bass related and i would consider trades for a double bass.. I have a Fender Custom Shop '61 NOS Jazz Bass here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/255946-fender-custom-shop-jazz-bass-61-nos/ Also there is a Mesa Boogie 400+, Bergantino 1x12 Cabinet and Acoustic Image Focus 2R Amplifier here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/256071-mesa-boogie-400-acoustic-image-focus-2r-and-bergantino-1x12/ The Bergantino and Acoustic Image Focus Amp are a great combination for double bass and other acoustic instruments.
