1. That is beautiful. Would you take a kidney, or perhaps my first born child as trade?
 2. Almost the weekend - why not treat yourself to a new bass AND a new guitar for less than 200 of your earth pounds? :-)
 3. Some interest in the lovely VI but nothing definite yet... great chance to play some lovely chords and melodies without having to wrestle with a neck 50cm wide. :-) https://youtu.be/qblERL_-i1M
 4. Sunday morning, just having a coffee - played a few chords on the VI and remembered how good it is. Still selling it though. ;-)
 5. All the cool cats play a Fender VI - what are you waiting for! :-)
 6. SOLD! Jeez, I could have sold this 5x times over. I'm going on Gumtree to buy some more!
 7. Agree - inbetweeny :-) Not as chunky as my P bass, and not as slim as my J bass. I am only selling as I just bought a deluxe precision and I just can't play everything all the time!
 8. No trades sorry - need to fund a new purchase arriving tomorrow!
 9. The Custom Shop pickups have more depth and warmth. The squires are perfectly fine and sound punchy and fresh. I am tempted to put the '62s in my 99 American P bass - just haven't got around to it yet..
 10. Hi there - indeed, I originally changed the Squire pups for Fender CS '62 models; which I am selling seperately. Or can include for an extra £50 :-) Certainly can post - looking at something like £15-25 in the UK. Let me know if you are interested. Cheers, Steve.

 12. For sale, 2x flight cases. 1x SKB 2U 1x Spider 4U I have bought soft cases for my amp heads so don't need these any more! Quite heavy (especially the 4U) - so would be better to pickup, but I can post. https://www.flickr.com/photos/103967645@N05/20084767063/in/album-72157644301162429/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/103967645@N05/20696448332/in/album-72157644301162429/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/103967645@N05/20517716730/in/album-72157644301162429/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/103967645@N05/20518979459/in/album-72157644301162429/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/103967645@N05/20679477216/in/album-72157644301162429/

 14. Up for sale is my Squire VM Bass VI. Olympic white with Rosewood fingerboard, tort pickguard and block inlays. Bought this last year on a whim as I was playing in a classic rock band. Still have the original cardboard box. :-) Great piece of kit and incredibly versatile. Makes a great sound as both a bass or guitar. Only played at home, just for fun, no scratches or scuffs, good as new. Whammy bar included, just not fitted at the mo. Selling as I need to fund another purchase! Currently fitted with straplocks but can put originals back on if required. Will post to UK - quote added to price. Although it's called a six-string bass it has the feel of a baritone guitar without the extended neck. The strings aren't extra thick so it's a great transition from guitar. The original model of 1961-1975 has provided distinctively voiced low end for everyone from the Beatles to the Black Keys, Cream to the Cure, and many others. The Vintage Modified Bass VI delivers authentically vintage-style look and tone, with a few modern touches such as a comfortable "modern C" neck profile and 9.5" fingerboard radius (the originals were 7.25"), and three custom Jaguar single-coil pickups with notched "claw" shielding rings (reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup). Other features include the model's classic 30" scale (standard tuning one octave lower than a guitar), maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays, four two-position slider switches (on/off switch for each pickup and one bass-cut "strangle" tone circuit switch), tortoiseshell pickguard (three-ply white-black-white on Black model), two black plastic control knobs (master volume, master tone), and vintage-style six-saddle bridge with non-locking floating vibrato. FEATURES

Basswood body
Gloss polyurethane body finish
Maple neck
Gloss polyurethane neck finish
Modern "C" shape neck
30" Scale
Rosewood fingerboard
21 Medium jumbo frets
Synthetic bone string nut
Pearloid block position inlays
4-Bolt Squier neck plate
Custom Jaguar Single-Coil bridge pickup with claw
Custom Jaguar Single-Coil reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup with claw
Custom Jaguar Single-Coil neck pickup with claw
Master Volume and Master Tone controls
3-On/Off slide switches (one for each pickup)
SSS pickup configuration
2-Position slide switch for bass-cut "Strangle" circuit
6-Saddle vintage-style bridge with non-locking floating vibrato
Chrome hardware finish
Vintage-style tuning machines
3-Ply white pickguard
Black plastic control knobs
NPS strings, .025 to .095 Tuned E to E (1 Octave Down)
White bound fingerboard with white pearloid block position inlays
15. For sale is my Squire Classic Vibe P-bass in Fiesta Red with rosewood neck and tort pickguard. Pino Palladino vibe and sound for much less than his sig model! I bought this last year from a girl who bought it and never played it - its as good as new, and I think a 2010 model? No scratches or scuffs. Plays great, currently strung with roundwounds. The neck has a lovely deep grain, looks much too good for a Squire! Fitted with straplocks, but I can replace with the originals if required. Here's the offical spec;
Classic vibe with modern refinements.
The Squier Classic Vibe '60s Precision Bass is an electric bass guitar that delivers the true P Bass experience. Big, woody tones jump out from its Custom Split Single-Coil Precision Bass® pickup. The comfort contoured body fits like a glove and looks beautiful. Featuring a 20-fret vintage-style maple neck (rosewood fingerboard) with the modern playability of a 9.5" neck radius and vintage-style frets - you'll have no problem holding down the bottom end and pounding out round thick tones on this bass tone monster! Classic Vibe! Back in 1982, the very first Squier by Fender guitars and basses came ringing out of Asia. Known for their excellent vintage-quality look, feel, sound and construction, those early Squier instruments and their Fender-branded counterparts are now highly sought-after collector's items revered by guitar enthusiasts as models of "getting it right" while aiming at value-conscious players. The Squier Classic Vibe Series reflects that simultaneous commitment to excellence, value and 'vibe'. Mirroring classic Fender designs, the Classic Vibe offering is not intended to be era or vintage correct — but rather to impart the "vibe" of a classic Fender design. Each model has a distinctive feature set—all adding up to one classic-looking instrument. 16. Awesome. I have just been looking for a twin to go with my newly acquired 'burst pbass... will get right back to you.
 17. Traded this with David at Cotswold Bass Guitars for a lovely Fender P-bass. :-)
 18. Some interest but still here.... roll up roll up! I have added some trade options as I really want / need a Fender P bass. Either a late '70's or a modern(ish) 2-3 year old. Rosewood neck, white, red or burst. Preferably with a tort guard. :-)
 19. I have one of these, same colour and I love it. It's an awesome bass. Good Luck!
 20. It's Monday and the bass is still here... there are quite a few vintage P-basses that I have my eye on right now so need to sell this and one of my Warwicks before xmas! :-) Make me an offer...
