    Hi Guy's Ive recently started a 3 piece rock/funk covers band..... we are getting a set together and have decided time is right to pick a name.... Only we seriously cant think/or decide on any that sound decent.... Have any of you guys got any cool band name suggestions for a rock/funk 3 piece covers band? Any suggestions whatsover are greatly appreciated..... artists covered so far include.... Hendrix, James Gang, Kula shaker, The Beatles, Kings of leon, Wild Cherry, Ocean colour scene, ZZ Top etc Many Thanks Craig

    Hi Guy's I'm a bassist of many years but just started trying out effects pedals now.... So i have a question... I have bought an overdrive pedal and used it for 1st time last week in rehearsal... it sounded great only problem i had was..... when i kicked in the pedal the volume through my amp increased quite a lot from clean to effects...... why is that and how do you combat it?.... I must stress i know nothing about pedals and workings of them...... so if it's plainly obvious i still wouldnt have a clue...lol.... Also i just plugged in and played.... hence not really studied the instructions Any help much appreciated guys Craig

    I'm wondering if you guy's can help me..... I'm a bass player who has never really used effects pedals.... Ive now got a band going and we are finding ourselves doing a lot of Hendrix and the like with some Kings of leon,Stereophonics, U2 etc thrown in too..... I'm now wanting to extend my sound with some effects, but i dont know what i should be going for?.... can you guys inform me?..... I dont want anything gimmicky or weird..... just something to really fatten and enhance my tone.. Any help or expertise would be gratefully recieved Cheers Craig

    Hi, I'm looking to sell my amp.... Line6 LD 300 Combo.... or poss trade for 4x10 or similar.............. combo or cab & Head. This is immaculate, ive had it for about 18 mths, bought on here from fellow basschatter, but wanna go back to 4x10 or similar..... It's sound and it's features are superb, it's just not what i need for my band.
